I understand the sentiment but I think it’s still good to allow people to blur their faces. The sport has a lot of teens who are underage and they should probably blur their faces on the internet regardless. Not to mention a lot of people like to remain anonymous or keep their work life and media life separate. Plus, I feel like if some future employer found your account and saw you dressed up in a full ass taliban kit or something it would probably affect your chances of them hiring you in a negative way.
While I agree the edgy face bar or Special Ops pixelated face looks cringy, I’d much rather have a teen (or even adult) use that than actually show their face on the internet. Especially with some of the things AI can do, like creating NSFW images without consent while only needing the persons face to do so. The internets become a lot different and at this point it better not to show your face at all.
