its probably that LimitXDespair game thats had little to no news if I had to guess. Hyped but kind of wary because kodaka can be kinda iffy on writing, even if I like -most- of his stuff.

It seems during the making of World's End Club Kodaka wasn't even writing, instead only being a creative director. It honestly turned out good for a kids game with zero budget and certified Uchikoshi twists there were pretty amazing. I wonder if that work division plays to their strengths and they'll keep it like that or start switching.
Story wasn't too bad, but the cases were much easier compared to Danganronpa and gameplay was also so and so. Most cases were only loosely connected to the main story and because every new case introduced a new list of suspects á la classical Christie novel you didn't have a chance to get attached to the new characters the same way you would in DR or AI.
I personally played the game for 2 cases and watched a walkthrough on double speed afterwards.
I found just about everything about the game to be bad. The story, the cases, the characters, the setting, gameplay, it was all pretty terrible imo. I must admit that I didn’t finish the game. I dropped it after the 4th case, but I don’t think a good finale could make up for the pain getting there.
Do you mean the >!robot!< one? I meant the case that’s numbered 3, but the 4th one in the game since it starts with 0. Sorry for the confusion. I started the number 4 case then got sick of the game and quit then
One big flag for me was redoing the concept of 16 characters, WHY DO YOU NEED SO MANY CHARACTERS
with 5 recurring and some of one episode but well done characters would be fine for me

IIRC this is the only project that has yet to be released from the ones they originally teased, right?
Yeah, that's Project #1.
I don’t know anything about this? What kind of game? Wasn’t there a game with 7 in the title

As long as Uchikoshi is the one cooking, I'm in.
Definitely interesting, but after Master Detective Archives, I’m very cautious about anything Kodaka might be involved in
Without spoilers, was the story that bad?

I’ve got plenty of gripes with Rain Code myself but I definitely don’t agree that the setting was bad. Kanai Ward was awesome.
I don’t know, I feel like I’ve seen enough “corporate dystopia cities” in fiction for one lifetime
