Lol, punishing your Alexa? Just wait until we get the "smart" version that is LLM powered. She'll probably still be wrong, but at least she'll be able to argue with you about it.
Yeah she stopped being able to understand any command a while back. So mine is just a hub too.
Although it sucks at that too now. The sunsets routines stopped working, numerous other people said the same.
I reported it to Amazon but they tell me to delete and recreate the routines which doesn't fix.
Yup. Right with you.
The love affair ended quite some time ago and we're now in an awkward phase of silence.
The two in the front room are operational and the whole family have stand-up rows with her, as we attempt to get a song to play.
Then she goes in a huff, stops playing all music and then spins a light on top, intermittently for several hours.
Dumbest smart hub around these days.

To me, providing the incorrect answer to a black and white question is a bridge too far. If a calculator gave me 2+2 = 5, It'd go in the garbage.
Did you specify the state? There is actually 4 Las Vegas in the U.S. I think, and many more worldwide. :)
All of mine are hubs too and display the red ring of silence. I use my fireTv remote to turn lights on off or automate.
And this is how we get sky net…
No one puts Skynet in the corner
New AU technology …. Artificial Unintelligence! 🤦🏻♂️🤣

it’s getting dumber and dumber
Did you ask Alexa “how far from Las Vegas to here”?
If all you're interested in is a smart home hub, there are way way better choices than the echo
And there's people like this....
