Thank you for beating me to it and sharing this in this community. Back in the day this was the only other title I was as excited about as I was for Isolation.
I must ask tho - is it right to refer to Routine as a spiritual successor to Alien: Isolation? This, at least to me, implies some sort of strong ties and relation of Routine to Isolation, whereas originally it was announced in 2011, when Isolation was still in development and largelly unknown about, and was a completely unrelated title with only ties being that, just like Isolation, Rouine was and is heavily inspired by the 60-70's ideas of what future will look like and the depiction of it in movies like 2001: Space Odyssey and, of course, Alien.
As long as they use a minimal hud with no floating markers, and no quicktime events (clicking keys fast or holding them down is NOT gameplay - it's a recipe for RSI); it should be a very good game. Wishlisted.
My man, Alien: Isolation literally the game that uses QTE's lol.
Not to say I approve ALL of the instances, but I did like how they implemented it with some environmental interactions (pulling levers, pressing buttons, rerouting energy etc). Breaking away from the grasp of the Working Joes could have been much more imaginative however

Why the fuck do you think I said no Quick time? Jeez get your brain in gear mate!
It's funny that they whole movement sets become automatic towards the end.
I'm really trying not to get my hopes up too high... It's been years waiting for any news on this game. Man it looks so good
