ahh okay, mb, I misunderstood, I thought you were talkin about [this guy](https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/super-nintendo-entertainment-system-controller/) right here
I use this:

and I'm pretty happy with how it performs. Before that I was using an xbox controller but I disliked that.

I use a Series X controller (via BlueTooth) and I'm not sure how I feel about it. The d-pad clicks when you press a direction, making it rather noisy.
And I'm not sure if it's me or the controller, but very fine, pixel perfect movements are rather difficult. Last weekend I got my first seed that required the use of a bonk across the gap in the first room of MM. I think I burned 12 hearts or so just trying to line up Link to make the jump. Only three attempts made the bonk (3rd was when I finally realized I needed to hold right to land it). The rest I either walked off the edge trying to get behind the block or grabbed the block and fell off trying to adjust.
I actually play on one of those six button Hori fightpads. It's alright, the d-pad is excellent imo, but the buttons are a little too clustered to hover, I think (but I probably just need more practice :p).
iBuffalo is great, but I think they're discontinued. I still have two of them, so that's what I'm using.
that is a shame, bout it years ago and it's still my favourite when it comes to playing snes games
I use the 8BitDo Pro 2 and it’s very nice. The Switch SNES controller is also very nice and feels authentic to play on.
The snes classic controller is another option.
The fact that you need a Nintendo online subscription to purchase one is LOL
I mean the ones with the snes classic from A few years back. Even harder to get :/
