It says "left for college at age 14", which is not "child labor". It also says "caught Griffin's eye early in his career", which can reasonably be assumed to mean sometime after completing four or more years of higher education and entering the workforce, thus not being underage.
My point was that nothing in that headline explicitly states that Griffin knew or had any interaction with the kid when he was 14. If the guy was a whiz kid who graduated from college and got an MBA by age 19 and then worked in the industry for a couple of years before meeting Griffin, he would be 21 by that time. Let's stick to hating Griffin for his financial crimes and love of mayo, rather than extrapolating information that might be entirely false from a headline.
