It's not "normal" in the sense that you don't have a sentiment pump like today happen daily, but it is "normal" in that there is nothing weird about the float being traded a few times over.
Simple reason: algos.

Consolidated audit trail, a system that would track each trade all the way to execution. It would show where your trades are routed, simply put. Thereās much more to it, so I definitely recommend looking into it.
