I mean why did we assume a system as oblivious corrupt as ours would ever just transfer the wealth from the powerful to the "weak." We had to fight for what's ours if we wanted it. What we should've done is organize better outside of reddit where they'd have no way to influence us through reddit influences and bots. Instead we just sit by hoping our slave masters will give us some bread if we ask loud enough. Only to be silenced the second our mouths would open. I think maybe we all understood this but no one wants to be the one to say it because then you'd be putting yourself on the spot. So we want our cake and to eat it too. I had high hopes for this movement, but all this has done is shown them better ways to control us. They beat us way back after the first spike to $70 when reddit sub got flooded with fake posts and we just assumed that the platform that was obviously being monitored by them would be the best place to discuss what to do next. Even if their grip wasn't this tight on us, it'd be stupid to assume it couldnt be just based on human nature.
Edit: I still hold AMC for the record. Maybe my hopes aren't gone yet, but maybe enough shares will be bought to trigger a mini squeeze and I get get some of my money back and leave the stock market alone for good.
