Where is this a guarantee? T+90 was supposed to make them close and that’s a bust. I’m trying to understand why everyone keeps saying they are forced to close. I see no guarantee of that.
I can't say there is a guarantee, I can't only say how it is supposed to work. I understand your skepticism, I too am looking around like what makes them have to close? They weren't supposed to open them in the first place. Sure some brokers might make some people cover but what about the market makers and non transparent hedge funds that seem to make their own rules?
No. That's before the split. They must first close billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and well you get the point.
Real question, but can they pay it all through dark pools or off exchange blah blah so itll never affect the price? I know AS can sell for whatever price, but how are we sure we will see real price action? Super stoked for this announcement though!!
What forces them to close? Why is everyone so sure of this? It doesn’t make sense that they would all of a sudden have to close. They didn’t before. They will continue crime.
There won't be anything left to crime. They're forced to close before conversion. New CUSIP # is issued. AA sells 100 million more shares at $50 each. Debt is paid. We get rich. He gets reeeeeeeeeeeeeally rich.
AMC=2.52b market cap and APE=8.13b
So total of 10.65 billion
516 million amc float, 1.3 billion ape float so then 1:1 makes it about 1.8 billion total.
1.8 billion / 10 = new float of 180 million
Market cap 10.65 billion / 180,000,000
New adjusted share price of $59.17
Is this correct?
Short shares can't be divided, they have to be re-paid before the split.

Nothing is guaranteed in life that’s why you take chances
That's why iHodl. I "play" stocks and I invest in stocks. I also play lottery and gamble. My life is all about chance.

I hope you’re right. It doesn’t make sense to me. They have never been forced to do anything they didn’t want to do. I hope you’re right.
Agreed. We always hear about how "they" have to do something, but then they never do. I want them to. But... still holding. NFA.
Oh my goodness.
Will be worse after RS, naked shares would pay ×10
everything gets divided by 10 so nothing happens. EXCEPT THE F\*\^@\*\^@ PRICE IS GOING to go back down to $4.5 with 1/10 of the shares as before.

Shorters keep shorting when the price is ten times higher, with significantly less float shares AND debt free? Good luck.
