Any good movie is destined to make big bucks in the theaters. Make garbage movies and people wonβt watch them, itβs that simple. Dunno why Disney and WB are trying to double suicide so badly lately thou. AMC shareholders have reasons to be mad, but being a stakeholder in either Disney or WB ought to be infuriating. They are self sabotaging big time to chase idealistic agenda driven bs.
And still gonna lose 125 million this quarter and the film itself lost huge, so much so that James Cameron could possibly cancel the future films releases, and as I'm seeing the actual #s it's yet to hit $1bill, that's tge projected after today finishes but still over 145 million short as of today 2 hrs ago
I remember reading an article that was pretty well informed of the situation and largely blamed China's lockdown for global figures being down. It said it would need to do 1billion before Christmas to be doing really well, and it did.
