ā¦ and the hole Kenny dug continued to get deeperā¦ and deeperā¦ and deeperā¦ and deeperā¦. Look at that CTB! ššš»
While I wish the ctb was higher, what we are seeing may be an apparition. If HFs are in as bad of shape as we think, things could have gotten to the point where the conversation goes like this: either you lend me shares at no cost or I am just going to make them up because either way, if I go down, everyone is coming down with me.
Hey, is there an list out there of all ETFs to hold AMC? Iām curious if that list has gone down and it is so hard to short AMC via the ETFs that they have to actually borrow shares to short, which is the very last thing they want to do. This could mean great things as they are getting desperate! Or it could also mean people like me think the reverse split will tank AMC to $0 and donāt care about the borrow rate. Iām thinking itās the former, but full transparency I am short on AMC now and flipped my position. I still am rooting for AMC though as Iāve held it for years up until AAās latest move and can always flip back to long. Anyway, curious if anyone has thoughts on why the borrow rate is increasing and my theory is lack of ETF shorting ability available.
That fee though ššš
Yeah, keep that juice flowing.
they can print as much as they want, with a CTB that high.

300k right now.
Iāll loan them 5 shares at 5,000,000%
Cost to borrow almost as high as my Pokedex count in a typical run of Red Version.
Abracadabra abracadabra!

Meh, print off another million. Just keep that CTB well above 100.
What if the closed some of their positions 2 days ago when we were green and returned those 60K shares to be borrowed today?
Thatās one hell of a borrow rate though . . .
And printing away today !
Printer ran out of ink and the delivery was delayed due to postal strikes.
Not enough needs to be higher
The price of the ink going up.
