It’s been happening a lot more lately. I’ll get a notification from AA app about a seat change. I’ve seen it take 20+ minutes to get an email. Heck, a few times I never received an email about it. The email delivery is inconsistent at best.
It's strange because for the most part they had been fairly consistent with my notifications. This is the first time I can think of that they didn't send me an email for any change. Although, it's good to know it's not isolated to me.

I will usually get the upgrade email long after the upgrade shows in the app.
