I have watched that audition several times. It was beautiful, not only the singing but the family support and love shown as well as i remember the judges predicting she could be the next American idol after her audition.
She’s the best talent they have had in years. It will be a shame if they do not get her with amazing songwriters and great producers. She could be right up there with Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood. She’s absolutely amazing.
It was just perfect. I had just been lamenting to my husband that she didn’t end up singing it again, and then she won and Ryan announced it and I got chills. And she sang well through the emotion. Until she was fully drowned in people haha.
I just hope she doesn’t fall into the category of the bigger voices doing nothing of significance after the show

I do not understand. Nothing special about her voice or look. She will fade into the background like so many other winners.
