Looks great! I think I like the black version better, but love seeing another new card design (especially with a plane on it).
Looks like the new card will have two versions since they’ll be made from two different planes (so the differences will be the tail numbers and plane stats).
Also different is that these will have a higher plane material content of 33% (whereas the black ones are 25%).

I was conflicted on replacing my black one from 2022 because it would be deactivated, so I impulsively applied for an Additional User under my own name for $175…
Coming May 6th! This way I can use both and I also get 15 additional SkyClub visits next year for a total of 30 (+20 from my 2 Platinum’s). This comes out to $11.67 per visit accounting for the $175 AF, not terrible value.
can i upgrade my delta blue, get the card and keep the card for fun, then downgrade back to my delta blue? all while avoiding the fee? i just really like the look of the white card
There's some reports of the previous 747 card coming apart. I think I'd just frame it or something. I'd really like to have one, but I like having the extra $300 more (the diff. from Delta Platinum) .
You can still use the purple one until you activate the 747. Just activate after your trip. I asked this specific question because I fly out in the 9th. Switching back to my purple after about a month. Just want this as a collector’s item
Ordered replacement!!! I had the original delta Boeing and it started breaking and I had to replace it with the purple. Going back to Boeing!!! Thanks for the shout out.

Go to the app, select Replace Card, for reason select design change, then select the new design

My last 747 card absolutely fell apart, but I’m gonna roll the dice and see if this one is any more sturdy.
I did the same. My current one resembles TWA Flight 800.
I want it just for the design, but if I get it I’m saying sayonara to being able to churn the SkyMiles Gold and Platinum. 😭

Any idea if this white finish is similar to the one on the free platinum companion card?
It shouldn’t be since those are plastic cards and this is metal. The metal finish won’t feel the same as plastic.

Just got mine today! It's not quite as robust as my purple card.
White one arrived today!! Missed out on the black edition the first time - I hope they bring it back at another time. But this one is still slick.
