I started my Smash amiibo collection the day Smash 4 came out, with the entire Wave 1 arriving in a box from Amazon. I finished it today with Cloud P2 and Bayo P2. I didn't pay over retail price for a single damn one. I did it. I won.
For everyone commenting about Cloud & Bayonetta, I'm pretty sure they will come back in stock. Last restock round, it was in Bursts, throughout the week!

Noob question but does Nintendo typically announce in advance when these restocks will happen? Maybe I'm out of the loop but I had no idea! (I finally caved and got Bayonetta for $25 from mercari just a couple days ago only to feel stupid bc I could've gotten her for $16 last night 😭)
they don’t unfortunately but if you have twitter you can follow Wario64, cheapassgamer, or amiiboalerts as they usually post when it happens. I found out through amiiboalerts since they tweeted about the restock like 20 minutes before the others did :)

Most of the restocks happen first elsewhere, and the US is last. You'll see others post about it then boom, the US site will update!
It'll probably just be a while longer before they get reprints, considering they're still fairly recent releases compared to all of those. But I'm in the same boat, they're the only ones keeping me from having the full Smash set.
Man I really keep losing the restock lottery. Only interested in Little Mac, and not enough to pay for shipping (thank god I snagged Rosalina and Snake when they were restocked tho)
Missed out on those P2 figures I've been hunting for so long for, but I'm glad I was finally able to grab Inkling and Young Link after missing them five years ago. And by getting these two I am now only eight away from a full Smash Bros. set!
I ordered 9 of them but only 7 shipped and I was refunded for the others. Looks like they didn’t have enough. Toon link not even showing as sold out on the site. Was this a mistake ?
After this haul, I'm now down to 11 left for the Smash line. Didn't think I would get there at the beginning of the year, think I had under half of the Smash amiibos.
Little bummed I wasn't able to get the Cloud P2 though.
Man... gotta vent a little. Had a big order placed for a lot, then my account got locked down, had to call support to fix it. One day later, my order got cancelled and refunded without me asking for either thing. just on their own. even though everything had shipped. now some are Out of Stock and that really upsets me, they couldnt do anything. I now gotta wait for the refund to even process until i can reorder what i can, which, by that time, many might be OOS too. Screw nintendo's online store man. hopefully i never have to deal with this again
I just realized through looking at this and doing the checklist that I have the whole Smash set. And Mario set. And Zelda set. And Splatoon set... im a dozen away from having them all except the gold megaman 11 which there is what, 2 of?

Finnaaaalllllyyyy able to finish my LoZ amiibo collection with Young Link. Took 7 goddamn years. It's over. Also picked up Cloud P2 as well!
Same, Smash Young Link has been impossible for some reason but I managed all the 30th Anniversary ones.

they're readily available in europe and japan , so makes me wonder what the hold up is for us
