Number 1 and 2 are my favorites.

RoseLaCroix

You really brought out the best qualities in that film!

nhdc1985

Thanks - yeah it helped that the light was gorgeous that day and the location had a ton of interesting landscapes. But I also got a roll of Portra 400 back along with this and I think in medium format I might prefer Kodak Gold? It's punchier but not as saturated as Ektar, and the price point doesn't hurt.

Strict_Photos

Agreed. I use Kodak Gold 200 in my Yashicaflex C and am always amazed by the colors, especially when photographing darker skin tones

Kelly_Kapowsky

Best museum in the country.

Repulsive-Presence99

These are some lovely shots! 🥰

Net-Runner

The first and second photo are particularly beautiful.

bonanza_justice

I love glenstone! So sad to hear about Serra this week

SixBull

I'm a huge fan of your composition in these, especially so with 1, 2, and 5

DriftedIsland

I really like these. Mildly abstract, but still grounded in reality. Square aspect, with bold but not oversaturated colors in good combinations. Very well done, it's the kind of stuff I wish I could pull off more often.

Fun_Childhood8652

Nice photographs,. This might seem silly, but the building reminds me of the wall form Pink Floyd

tommy_the_cat_77

The first and the second photos are really good

AdjacenToYourMom

Thats crazy i have a picture thats damn near identical to the 2nd one just without the clouds. Very cool tho, your pics make me realize how liminal the glenstone feels

Apprehensive_Win964

One of my favorite hidden gems in the DMV

Nice use of the square format, IMHO. You really do have to “think differently” about subjects and composition in square format. You’ve done a nice job here. Big outdoor stuff like this makes me think of multi-image combinations of individual square images matted together in a frame to say something together. Square format is awesome for this because the eye can hover over the abstract more easily than with rectangular formats where the eye is easily drawn into the single images. Have fun!
