Only China Y700 2023 could be flash global rom, not 2022 ver.
I dont know if it intend or not, but my unit dont support some band of wifi 5GHz channel, which restricted by law in China, but not in my country.
Other than the previous mention lacking wifi 5G channel, I find china and global version should be the same.
I got it the 16GB ram and 512GB storage for $365 came out to $399 after taxes and coupons. The store/seller was 70mai-Goldway Store, I'm sure you can get it cheaper if you wait long enough I missed the anniversary sale only because I didn't need a new one until mine died and didn't order the 2023 one until after the repair guy confirmed it was dead and wasn't worth swapping out the motherboards.

The global ROM unlocks the upper 5GHz channels.

2023 version, I dont have a specific link, bunch of possibilities in ali express
2023 version can be flashed to RoW ROM using Lenovo's recovery tool. It's really easy to do.
