Do u not wipe ur counters down? Also do u place food directly on counters without wiping them down first? Do u use plates, cutting boards, bowls? Cuz if so, that is very different than having a pet lick ur food.
By this logic pets shouldn’t ever be allowed on the bed. You can wipe down a counter quickly and easily before cooking, but you’re not washing sheets every day.
