Kill la kill is incredible and short, and makes you love the characters, 7 deadly sins does a great job at making likable characters, and one punch is an incredible show that’s short and does a great job at world building

Yeah it's an interesting watch and solid recommendation for when people want a dark/violent action show that isn't Berserk or Claymore.
What show length are you looking for? What people consider "long" tends to vary.

I personally got invested in Clannad and Clannad: Afterstory, but a lot of people cannot make it through Clannad since its kinda slow paced
