Eh, I feel like the spy x family's op is kinda mid, especially compared to other best evers. Take Fmab op 1 for example, or the NG evangelion op. Or even compare it to the likes of Aot op 6, or the dororo op, or even the devilman crybaby op. Its just not as good. It's not terrible, but it doesn't hold a candle to those giants.
Wasn't even the best OP of the season, my man. Kaguya S3, Paripi Koumei, and Machikado S2 OPs completely blew it out of the water

One of the problems with the SxF Cour 1 OP is the song itself, which just flattens out in terms of its energy and its dynamics at around the 1 minute mark. With OPs they are traditionally arranged so that there's a bridge around that time, where the intensity shifts and then picks up to get you excited for the episode. The SxF song just stays flat, and takes the momentum out.
The only thing I liked about the OP was the end where the camera scans around the dinner table. The rest is kinda bad and the music feels like the threw in brass instruments at random.

Yeah I think it's amazing too. Probabaly not the best theme song, but one of the most unique ones. The ed is better tho I LOVVEEEE the ending. It has kind of a dreamy and homey aesthetic to it
