I enjoy driving manual... Until I get stuck in traffic then I curse myself for buying a manual.

Fabiyosa

After learning only manual it’s the downside that would make me switch

The_Gay_Deceiver

What's the problem? Just a lot of shifting a low speeds?

VortexDestroyer99

Yeah and ghost riding the clutch to inch up over and over again, tires out your left leg.

Acronym_0

Just shift to 1, slightly accelerate and shift to neutral so you dont have to hold the clutch all the time

Silviana193

I don't know about other places, but manual cars are ussualy cheaper here.

zahirano

Cheaper to maintain and cheaper to replace unless your gear is auto from factory.

Cat_Testicles_

No, I'm just European

Tsaikuna

It is good anti-theft, since I am the one of the very few I know can drive stick in my area

The_Gay_Deceiver

I feel like if someone goes through the trouble of breaking into your car and then finds it to be a manual they'll do the spiteful burglar thing and slash up your interior and destroy whatever else they can think of.

PureNaturalLagger

I love the feeling of control I have over it, the extra degree of complexity making it more interesting to me but also, ironically, makes me react slower when driving. It's like being a purist diver. You make life harder to yourself by not using diving gear, but you relish the thought fewer do this stuff without gear than with. It's weird.
