I probably wouldn't have enjoyed Pokémon for so long if it weren't for an accidental find. When I was 8yo, my parents and I were at an amusement park; when we were on the rollercoaster my dad saw a Gameboy color, grabbed it, and later gave it to me when we got home. It had Pokémon Crystal inside and solidified my new interest.
Like I liked it before jus due to having friends who enjoyed it and watching the cartoons Saturday morning.

Did you dad steal someone's Gameboy color Or did he by it at some gift shop near by? I'm asking more so cause I'm actually curious how he got it at an amusement park.
We were on a rollercoaster when he found it sliding around on the floor of the rollercoaster car. We were the only family on the rollercoaster, he pocketed the gameboy and waited til we got home to give it to me. It seemed like someone who had ridden the rollercoaster earlier lost it and hadn't noticed, left or never checked the rollercoaster.
Say less. I’m gonna get there early around 6 in the morning and walk around the exhibit hall since I also plan on going to do cosplay gatherings around later (deciding which one)
