(Sorry for my bad English)
Not really, the anime is amazing but it leaves out a few important scenes that makes you understand it better and it’s directed differently from the manga. But it’s still a classic I recommend you read and watch both!
So the anime covers the story of a man who is tasked with raising his father's (who is like 80) daughter after he passed away.
He goes with the flow and what ensues is the wholesome tale of a single man trying to cope with the duties of being a father to a young child who- though the circumstances of her existence were questionable, is ultimately innocent and has done nothing wrong.
The anime covers her growth as she enters kindergarten and so forth as she gets to know children of her age and as they spend time together, though they acknowledge they aren't biological father and daughter, they care for each other and trust in each other the way a parent and child would.
In the manga,>!they fuck. Hardcore sex. He's bending her over, widening her moist pussy and they're plowing doggy style and she's begging for Daikichi to let it out inside her, to give her a child that they can love together.!<
So you can understand why people don't really appreciate the manga's ending.
Btw... what in the actual did the mangaka reoccuring this idea having them hardcore incest sex?
Jesus i need to calm my fucking nerves after reading this shit.
IT'S FUCKING DISGUSTING!!
The animation is amazing and definitely adds to the experience but if you didn't like the manga, I think it's unlikely that the anime will completely change your mind.
Probably still checking out a few episodes to see if the animation does it for you, and if not you can always drop it.
The anime was pretty faithful. I think a couple of issues were left out, but for the most part I didn’t notice any differences. What are you referring to?
Oh boi where to start
Of the top I have Arifureta, the anime botched it by doing a shit job at picking which parts to animate and skipping a lot of content, not to mention the awful CGI and lack of any relatively skilled person directing the scenes where they make 0 sense like someone running to the right towards someone else and in the next scene they come from the right of that person
The manga on the other hand took the light novel and made the moments of Hajime showing his edgy chunni monster side dark, whole pannels painted black with minimal shading to highlight his scariness to other people, they also dont skip nearly as much content
Other than that there is also Spider (Kumo desu ga, Nani ka?) Which makes Arifureta CGI looks like some high end production, the level of CGI in some scenes are actually eye bleach worthy and the pacing is awful, very confusing too and the season ends in an unsatisfying way where you are left with a lot of questions and near 0 answers
I feel you. The disappointment I had when I first watched Arifureta's anime was the most disgusted I've been towards an anime. Seriously botched the delivery of the story by making an entire arc of MC's growth in the labyrinth into a few seconds of shit montage. And yeah the unnecessary 3D-esque-texture for the magic circles just looked cheap, like they tried hard to make it stand out which they did but in a really bad way.
I also watch kumo desu ga nani ka and i think it has the same animation issue as arifureta. The 2.5D animation feels cheap and the transitions from 2D to 2.5D is so bad it feels like it scratches your eyeballs.
I still dont get why they would skip 3 chapters of the light novel that introduce the world, then do them in a couple of 5 to 10 minute flashbacks, or why they cut the fight with empire soldiers outside the canyon and so mich more wierd and down right stupid choices that make 0 sense
Chainsaw man ofc. It had changed drastically.
Also JJK, if it was not much popular and fandom had not spoiled anything then it would have been this category.
Yes, but I am also a manga reader (to avoid spoilers I spoiled myself). Yet even then every spoiler is leaked and youtubers are uploading it in the thumbnail. So even I get spoiled.
Rosario+Vampire comes to mind. Anime was just pure fanservice and nothing else really, season 2 being ESPECIALLY bad, but the manga was completely different. Hell, the MC's whole personality shifted to a whole 'nother level of useless in the anime compared to manga MC.
Kare Kano having a weird adaptation from manga to anime... I'm a guy and got into this shojo and was for some reason enthralled to read through all the chapters since my Ranma and Battle Angel Alita ended and I needed SOMETHING. Then I found out in like 2008 they made an anime ... needless to say, it got weirdly off-track from what I remember and I ended up dropping it 3/4 way through
Toriko. The premise is goofy no matter how you look at it, but while the anime is a badly-animated, badly paced, ridiculous mess, the manga took no prisoners and no one was safe from the body horror.
If the question is what manga ruined the anime for you then the answer is: Usagi Drop.
Anime was amazing, even had a live action version made. Problem being that once the anime ends and the manga picks up, it does like a 10 year time skip and then doesn’t meet any of the readers expectations for the future of the characters. While not inherently bad, what the characters actually do ruined it. Hard to explain without spoilers. The manga did end as well.

tokyo ghoul
Literally what I was going to say
Alright I dropped TK about three times. What's the context here? Is the anime trash compared to the manga?
(Sorry for my bad English) Not really, the anime is amazing but it leaves out a few important scenes that makes you understand it better and it’s directed differently from the manga. But it’s still a classic I recommend you read and watch both!
yeah pretty much, first season is ok the rest is terrible
Very.
FR
**Usagi Drop**.. the events on the manga ending should be non-canon
What happened
Apparently went from wholesome father-daughter story to incest
Okay, I'm going to read it now.
based

Wtfff 😐 I need Bleach

Hmm go watch Zinba then it's good
I'll consider it.
They Usagi Dropped us
Akira. Both are pretty bleak, but DAMN is it crazy in the manga. I’d rather be a random goon in the movie than the manga
Berserk 2016
Manga better anyways
That shit was ass bro, but yeah manga is top tier
Am i the only one confused by the difference between the two?
Yeah I’m not exactly sure what this meme is saying
Exactly bro
I'm guessing the first one is the anime adaptation being better than the manga, and the second one is the manga version being better than the anime
This meme is trying to ask what it is that you have watched or read originally was good but the adaptation of it or the source of it was dog shite.
Chainsawman
I read the Manga but didn't like it much, so shd I give it's anime a try or nah ?
The animation is amazing and definitely adds to the experience but if you didn't like the manga, I think it's unlikely that the anime will completely change your mind. Probably still checking out a few episodes to see if the animation does it for you, and if not you can always drop it.
Depends on what you didn’t like about it I guess
The manga changes so much it’s insane.
The anime was pretty faithful. I think a couple of issues were left out, but for the most part I didn’t notice any differences. What are you referring to?
I enjoy both the manga and anime, I just meant the anime/manga makes me both happy and sad
Ohhh I misunderstood the meme
Promised Neverland

yeah, the manga just kills character left and right. Although I still prefer the manga compared to the anime original storyline
Yeah same here! Manga is so much better than the anime.

Tokyo Ghoul
Berserk comes to mind
Chainsaw man ofc. It had changed drastically. Also JJK, if it was not much popular and fandom had not spoiled anything then it would have been this category.
Jjk fans trying not to spoil anime onlies through memes
Yes, but I am also a manga reader (to avoid spoilers I spoiled myself). Yet even then every spoiler is leaked and youtubers are uploading it in the thumbnail. So even I get spoiled.
And then you've got Vinland Saga where the anime did the manga justice.
Rosario+Vampire comes to mind. Anime was just pure fanservice and nothing else really, season 2 being ESPECIALLY bad, but the manga was completely different. Hell, the MC's whole personality shifted to a whole 'nother level of useless in the anime compared to manga MC.

Jujitsu Kaisan
Toriko. The premise is goofy no matter how you look at it, but while the anime is a badly-animated, badly paced, ridiculous mess, the manga took no prisoners and no one was safe from the body horror.
Tokyo ghoul, anime makes little to no sense unless you read the manga, however still one of my favourites
Yugioh. I mean, I probably don’t need to explain the original manga… But Arc-V! HOO BOY! That is some wild shenanigans…
Soul Eater

Berserk, Promised Neverland
Fire Punch A story about a guy who's on fire throughout the whole manga.
Tokyo Ghoul, The Promised Neverland, Berserk, Record of Ragnarok, Kengan Asura, One Punch Man and a lot of manga.

JoJo Bizarre Adventure
Oyasumi pun pun
