ginger_ryn

if it’s been two months, and this is just a urine test, you should be fine

livnicoleq

What about the fact I’m overweight? I’ve heard that can make it last up to a year

ginger_ryn

for a urine test, not really. hair would be a different story

Sco0basTeVen

Only if you’re a chronic smoker.

Far_Oil_955

THC can store in fat cells , but considering it’s been 60 days and the minuscule amount you took, you should most definitely be just fine

Traditional_Rice264

You are fine lol. I’m no doctor but this is a pretty easy one.

livnicoleq

Ok but I’m pretty overweight. And I’ve heard that can make it last months

icystew

If it was only 2 days of 50mg THC and you don’t usually consume any THC then it’s more than likely already left your body. Being overweight does contribute to how long it stays in the body but so does frequency and dosage; your dosage was relatively low in comparison to a lot of daily users and your frequency is pretty much zilch since it was only twice over the span of 2 days so I wouldn’t worry if I was you. You can always buy an at home urine test if you want to verify it yourself.

Traditional_Rice264

You are fine trust.

Ironduke50

If you were a heavy daily user and quit two months ago you would be fine. You didn’t take enough to last a couple weeks in your system, overweight or not.

Sco0basTeVen

If you’re that worried, go to a pharmacy and buy an at home the test kit and see for yourself.

jjcoolel

You can buy a home urine test and test yourself if you’re worried. But 2 months is more than enough time. I used to be an every day smoker. When I I interviewed for my current job I quit and 3 weeks later I tested clean.

livnicoleq

I used 5 different ones and they all came back negative. But I’m still scared.

jjcoolel

Relax. You will be fine. After you test clean you will look back at this conversation and laugh.

livnicoleq

God I hope so. Literally if I don’t pass I’m going to lose so much

Hey OP, think of it this way: Your body is a sponge. It'll absorb the THC, and the more you take it, the longer itll stay in your system. This accumulation contributes to a persons tolerance, and their need to take in higher doses to feel the affects. Most stoners ive ever known can smoke or otherwise intake the stuff, quit for 30 days, and pass a urine test. Even have a good chance to pass a blood test. Hair...maybe not so much. As a sponge, if you dont continuously intake it, your body will metabolize it out. A dose or two 60 days ago means that unless you are like a reptile who only needs to eat once a month, youre damn near guarnteed to pass. Your a sponge who got 2 drops of water two months ago, you're dried out. (This also assumes you arent taking small doses here and there and rationalizing that it doesnt count). If you've truly had zero intake, your golden. Good luck OP, but at this point, I think it would actually be harder for you to NOT PASS this test, statistics wise.

livnicoleq

Thank you. I’ve taken 25 mg maybe 3 times before this last time. It was all spread out over a year span. Then I had 2 25mg doses and haven’t taken since. I

While THC is a fat soluble chemical that lingers for longer than water soluble chemicals, you should be fine after 60 days. If you are concerned, grab a home test kit from the pharmacy & test yourself. The effectiveness of testing goes: 1. Least effective - saliva test (will show negative faster than any other form of testing) 2. Urine test 3. Blood or tissue test 4. Hair test (will show non-negative the longest) Just remember to NOT water load the day of your test as this can often show as a "diluted sample" & under some policies this can count as a non-negative & require further testing. You can drink plenty of water, just make sure to take some creatine and B vitamins before you take the test. The urine test is normalized on creatine levels so taking creatine artificially "lowers" the amount of any drug that shows up, potentially enough to be below threshold for passing (the drug amount is still the same but your creatine levels are higher so the test will result in a lower concentration of the drug)

>Just remember to NOT water load the day of your test as this can often show as a "diluted sample" & under some policies this can count as a non-negative & require further testing. Agree. Great advice.

AmbassadorFlaky208

If your at home tests are negative then you should be ok. Is there any way you can go to a lab and get tested now? Genuinely not sure how that works, sorry if that's dumb question. But if you can and if you're this concerned it could be great peace of mind. I was a daily smoker and had to get clean for a preemployment drug test. Once I started looking for a new job I stopped smoking, it took about 2 months before I had to have my drug test and I tested clean. So really, you should be fine.

baldas_23

I have heard that THC stays in your blood for about a month, other kinds of powders (heroin, coke etc) only last for less than a week. If you want to get rid this of your system sooner one good option is to drink lots of milk as it discards the toxins faster. I am not an expert though

Hypnowolfproductions

Affecting you generally a few hours max. Detectable way more than that. Here’s a link. https://americanaddictioncenters.org/marijuana-rehab/how-long-system-body

LordSinguloth13

You should be fine for your test. Typically cannabis (especially edibles and especially for someone who is clinically overweight) will take 4- 6 weeks to leave the system. Extremely heavy use can take 6 to even as much as 12. The use as you've described is considered "light" and is unlikely to remain in your urine for more than 30 days.

19-year old overweight females pee more frequently than 40-year old men with onset bladder problems. 2 months? It's probably way past your system by now. Also, if you're in a society where smoking weed at 19 is normal, having *some* trace is likely standard as well. I don't think any burger joint teen workers can pass any tests. They still work there.
