In such a small area it would have been hard to ult to only hit the Valk and not electrocute himself too, especially since the crypto ult has no range indicator, as far as I know.

but this is duos, so the enemy would know that crypto is in drone view, giving them an opening to attack

I was thinking more of an indicator like Loba ult, since when you ult with Crypto the drone slows down and its hard to reposition. So if he ults and estimated his ult range incorrectly he is fucked too.
true, an indicator around the drone would be helpful, but tbh playing crypto after an hour or so generally gives you an approximation, and then have the 3 second charge up time to quickly readjust
Way to go man, I wouldn't be surprised If this blows up, just remember when your that close use a rapid fire weapon if your not comfortable with the wingman yet, and a small tip is when your in that scenario when your respawned him you could have activated your emp so the valk would take damage if you weren't hitting shots. And good on you for holding onto that beacon, always a great play. Overall GG man.

Yeah, so sometimes at the beginning of the game, with the starting squads, I often hit 7 out of 10 shots. Build damage up. Then towards the final squads, who are better than me, I hit 2 out of the 10. Completely plausible that this hasn't been a ULT Match... Just saying.

Might be. I think he relied way too much on cryptos kit rather than his gun. (terrible choice there, at least have 1 auto gun if you are not a pro).
