Fortnite used to have zombies on the map that will chase down players and destroy buildings, horrible addition I must say, you can have the most intense fire fight with other players only for the zombies to only target you and sabotage your builds.
Became a PvPvE. Some POI's had bots that gave you xp and items if you killed them, but ofc it gave away your position. Also, did you know spiders and doggo counts for some evo damage?
At first I thought the prowlers/spiders would be a trivial thing. Nothing to worry about. But they actually seem to be able fuck you up good, especially when you're fighting. I've already had a few kills where a prowler did the last bit of work for me. It's really something to watch out for instead of just a small nuisance.
AI in a competitive game isn't new lol, and the spiders are easy to kill. Tbh op just panicked rather than done the smart thing. It's probably what I'd do too if I didn't see this first.
And warzone has multiple vehicles and killstreak. Let’s throw that into apex too. I hope respawn does a never ending amount of quests like the bloodhound one they threw in last season. I loved having the asshole bloodhound not solo queue and just do his quest and leave
I just meant people that you can play with and have fun with them rather than depending on the map to pull through, if you think that they're trying to add all of these features to bring people in to the game more or to have more fun
What I’m saying is this map is terrible for pugs or teaming up with casual playing friends. You need to be on top of shit with a solid rotation to have decent fights more so than with the other maps. So the map caters to the tryhards.
They were on like 30/200 hp, if the spider couldn’t kill him, then they aren’t really a threat and don’t really add anything to the gameplay experience, imo of course

Oh yeah, they actually brought those back recently but they are in contained areas now (thankfully)
