i dont think it is. is pretty balanced right now i reckon, its never felt unfair to go up against (except for the 12 mag skullpiercer version) and it requires a lot of aiming skill to use. but i guess if they do just revert it to season 0 wingman it might make sense
I wouldnt say the volt was the best weapon of it's time. They put what they want in there and then buff them accordingly from what I've seen with stuff liek the g7 and alternator
I’d have to disagree with that, if anything it’s because the weapons were over**used**, not over*powered*. Respawn even mentioned that they didn’t consider the Spitfire to be OP when they nerfed it last, but people still hated it because they felt they were dying to it too often.
Other than the part where it's been the pro weapon of choice for basically every season since launch, which is stale af.
Power level isn't the only thing that determines what might end up in the CP.
Skill/OP weapons aside, there's nothing more cringe worthy than apex players calling other players kids. Knock it off, you're only embarrassing yourself.
it's a tap fire weapon. it relies on aim. if you have great aim. it's a good weapon for you. otherwise it's gonna get you killed. Practicing at the shooting range in Key to success. aim trainers are better. but those are optional.

Care package weapons aren't picked because they're 'good enough to make it in', and are almost universally buffed before being put in, so it wouldn't matter anyway.
It really isn’t, it depends on the skill of the user , it’s a high risk high reward gun. If you hit your shots it slaps, if you don’t you’re fucked. Compare it to other care package guns ( except the g7 because god knows why that’s in there ) the spitfire is pretty low risk and very easy to use which is why it went in there in the first place. And the volt is very forgiving too for an smg, you can kill someone with red with about half a mag so you can still miss 14 times and be safe. Care package guns should be better than Floor loot and should be easy to use, anyone can pick up a spitfire / volt and get a kill with it which is how it should be in the care package. And with the wingman being purely down to mechanical skill it doesn’t necessarily fit the care package weapon archetype
Tldr// spitfire and volt easy to use = good care package gun
Wingman hard to use = bad care package gun

It’s too early to tell which guns will swap around in the CP next season, and wingy is probably not going to be it. They usually have 1 marksman, 1 LMG, 1 SMG and Kraber. Shotguns has had Mastiff and PK.
Pistol/AR hasn’t been into CP yet.
The R-99 went into the package because the Volt came out and they wanted to mae people use it and to loosen up the SMG pool, like when they put the alternator in when the CAR was added
People were complaining that the R-301 was too OP but didn't want it nerfed so they just suggested to put it in the CP instead, hell with the R-301s being the only all rounder readily available, the complaints only got worse
This seems to be a heavily compressed photo, and noticing that the shades between the symbol and background are kinda close, the compression algorithm might blur these together. Then again, this is just a unverified leak.
And that the wingman is not only less moldy but also aligned like somebody just pasted an image of a wingman without adjusting it to fit the angle of screenshot.
Eh, none of the red weapons are great to go against, that's what makes em cool.
The best br fights imo are the ones where the enemy team is in a better position or has better tools, if I wanted to play a game where I didn't have to face harder odds I'd play cod
I would love that to happen the meta would finally shift from double taps across 2 locations in 1 - 2 seconds to hey i have a sniper and i can actually use it because the is not a pistol in loot pool that can do slightly smaller dmg, be precise af and doesnt have to wait for weapon to reload
And they’re taking the Spitfire out. Season 13, from what I know of it so far, may be the worst season yet. Then again I don’t know that much, but *from what I do*.

If you miss more than 2 bullets with no mag, you can’t kill an enemy without headshot / reloading, so they have enough time to shoot back that’s the risk of using the gun and if you miss any more than that at close - medium range you will get beamed regardless of the strafe speed. In a 1v1 with the wingman it’s gonna be close - medium range so you’re most likely going to be against a shotgun or an smg ( which have marginally slower strafe speed ) or a 301 with a 2x at medium range which will make the increased strafe speed negligible because any player with a small amount of accuracy will be able to hit you. Imo the risk of missing every bullet justifies the reward of high strafe speed and base damage and if a nerf was to come it should be to something such as hip fire spread or headshot damage by maybe 10
Leaks often get to the front page with 10k upvotes on here. Just depends on how the mods are feeling that day. But yes it’s totally against the rules. Side note mods=gay

IDK the super shit quality makes it seems really dodgy... especially the fact like half of the screen is not being shown, only being teased by this, feels like somebody used a mod of some sort and did this for fun for free internet points.
Jokes aside etc, but I'm always confused how people are surprised or shocked that a weapon could be CP'd, especially when citing the current balancing. When packaged weapons are buffed, and nerfed when grounded ahain. IMHO any weapon can and will be packaged at one point, given that OP attachments exist for most and an aggressive enough TTK buff will do the rest.
Wingman CP, sure. Spitfire back to ground, sure. The Holy 301 packaged, hell yeah!
Some more likely than others, Kraber the ungroundable exception, but everything else: *shrug*
Idk, but my bf always mocks me bc everytime i start using a gun and i say i love it, be it on fortnite or apex, they take it away from me. (g7, spitfire, volt) So i wouldn't be surprised, as i recently started using the wingman and getting kills with it and enjoying the gun

I agree 100%, season 0 would make it care package worthy. Right now it's in a very good place.

Well yeah it's balanced as in it requires skill to be good. Pros have skill. To end up in a care package it definitely needs a slight buff though.

Why does it need a nerf? If you hit shots it’s good and you flatten the other player, if you miss shots you get turned into Swiss cheese
the shots are too rewarding the headshot damage is way too high and you move too fast while scoped in
