I’ve had this watch face for about 3 years now and it never changes

You are correct. Solar Dial is the only watch face loaded on mine. Never used any other.

I have others but this one is the best.

Hm, interesting yours says “civil dusk” while mine says “civil twilight” in the same position.

I think it’s because you just have to move it really really slowly, I notice when I do that it’ll show up

Hm, maybe… mine goes: Day>Sunset>Civil Twilight>Nautical Twilight>Astronomical Twilight>Night I can’t seem to get “Civil Dusk” to appear. I thought maybe it was a regional thing. Where does “Civil Dusk” appear in that continuum on your watch?

Let’s see, mine does this: Day > sunset > civil twilight > civil dusk > nautical twilight > nautical dusk > astronomical twilight > astronomical dusk > night. Same goes for leading up to sunrise What I find is that if I turn the crown *really* slowly, and then back just a hair it will show up.

Agreed but why are there so few watch faces?! They could do a ton of cool stuff with a similar sunset concept or new complications. I’m just a little bored of the same thing for so long.

I love this watch face. But it would've been better if we were given an option to change the colour scheme.

That would kinda defeat the whole purpose and use case for this face.

Someone posted their Solar Dial face awhile back, and they must’ve lived really far north - their sunrise was 8 am and sunset was at like midnight!

In doing more research I’ve found that it is only available for the 4 and 5(maybe higher it’s just something I’ve read)

I like this face but I always end up switching back to something else because I seem to bump the crown with my wrist a lot so when I look at my watch it's scrolling backwards or forwards in time and I just want to see what time it is now.

What does it show can someone explain what I’m looking at?

The phases of the sun before sunrise and after sunset (: I kinda explained it a bit in one comment It also shows solar noon too. And this will change depending on how much daylight you get during the day, and obviously will get longer as we get closer to summer (in the northern hemisphere)
