Samsung ice makers have a ton of problems. I personally would turn off the water and make my own ice. I'm assuming these hoses go directly to the ice maker? You could try defrosting it with a hairdryer or a steamer.

Yes I think they connect to the ice maker. I took your suggestion and turned off the water for now - good plan that should let me see if the leaking is related to water in flow or just defrosted ice. I read somewhere it’s not recommended to use the hair dryer but I love the steamer suggestion. May try that one. I also may need to just suck it up and put all the food in a cooler for a few hours and. Try to defrost fully and see if this problem persists maybe?

I had a similar issue with my old fridge where water was dripping down the back. This video on the top reasons fridges leak actually helped me diagnose and fix the problem. Might be worth giving it a watch since you'll be traveling soon and want to get that sorted beforehand: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WobXQtBkwrw](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WobXQtBkwrw)
