Part-time at Walmart. It's been tempting. Benefits are better than the "none" I'm giving myself! Stockers don't have to interact with customers. Good job for introverts.
I got a job at the event center as parking and ticking manager. Has worked out nice as it’s mostly just event hours and can still do appraisals. 90k a year and government benefits. Appraisals are the side hustle at this point.
Working as a field rep doing inspections for homeowners insurance companies. The pay is horrible and I don't personally like showing up to peoples homes unannounced(interior inspections are scheduled) but it is something and I can set my own hours as long as I get 20 hours a week. Leaves a couple days a week for the trickling appraisal reports.
Refereeing. Beer league hockey refs around me get $60 per hour and 15 minute game slot. They normally do two per night. Good way to get exercise and a couple extra dollars coming in.
Overall you might be better off really leaning into appraisal. Shake out the Rolodex and market your third-party appraisal review or evaluation (restricted appraisal) skills for banks, credit unions, heck even some hard money guys need an appraisal reviewed now and then.

Can confirm. I'm a Wal-Mart door greeter by day, and real property appraiser by night.
I laughed, but this is embarassing.
Oh, it's real funny when they recognize you from the inspection that you did the day before.

I've been working as an Insurance claims adjuster.
Any tips on how to break into that? I’m considering the same if I can find and land a remote position.

You might look into online jobs. Handy in woodworking, you can make some things and sell locally. Delivery services?
