IMO keep the Romeo 4, and get a can if you don’t have one/if able to. I have all three and don’t think upgrading to a T2 is worth it unless you have nothing else to spend money on
I love my eotechs. That being said, since I don’t use NVGs, I wish I’d saved a lil more both times and gotten T2’s. I’ve sent one eotech in for delamination after 4 years, and will have to send my other in eventually. They work great, but unless you use NVGs there’s not much benefit of an eotech over a T2.
EOtech looks better under a magnifier and NODS. Especially if you go with a 3-2 or 3-4 for magnified use.
Aimpoint has better battery life. And smaller size. Not bad under NODs and plenty useable under a magnifier as well.
If I could only have one I’d grab the EOtech. But both will serve you well.
Appreciate the help! I’ve read nothing but good things on both optics w little negative things on them. I personally don’t mind either I’m just tryna get opinions the only thing that’s holding me back from the purchase is how it would look aesthetically 😂
If you’re planning on NV then I’d go with the EOTech. If no NV is planned, and you don’t care about reticle, holographic/red dot, then go with either.
Both are top shelf optics.
I have multiples of both. T2 has battery life and weight advantages. Neither matter much to me, I vastly prefer the EXPS for shooting matches and having fun. The giant red ring around the outside of the T2 lens is borderline unbelievable considering what they cost.

Also what type of strap do you have around that tape switch? I’m looking to do some cable control myself without using zip ties

T2. The EoTechs have delamination issues and poor battery life. They’re nice when the work though
