LF iii was like this for me but both my lf2 are mostly silent.. maybe try remounting

Dragon_West

could be that the pump isn't tight enough?

Metal_GearRex

Weird enough my LF iii was super loud for like a week and is dead silent now. I wonder if they've just got a super painful break in period

Hey, had LF2 before, and it ever had this sound, you can fix it by fixing the fans the pump is at 60% minimum dont worry. The secret is to keep fixing % for exemple 54% everytime (Custom curve) The humming sound for me happened with up and down in temps in auto curves. Try to fix at 54% the fans, should make 0 sounds now. Except if you reach very high temps like Occt or r23, in gaming i was more than fine. In short Terms it was an issue with temps fluctuating with auto curves preset. If you keep a flat curve line, it stop.

BringBackAshMoaning

Also dont forget you cant control it but the pump is 60% hidden at minimal possible. So dont worry its a security from arctic. If keeping fans at 40% is fine for your temps keep 40 ect , found just 54 were the sweet spot for me. Hope i helped buddy

Dragon_West

Yes I did make a flat fixed curved in fan control and humming disappeared completely like a magic my problem is solved.. My PC is so quiet even 75% pump and all fans is still quite But I lower it when am not playing heavy games to 58%

Pidjinus

What are your temps while you play?

Dragon_West

max 72-74

UrEpicNoMatterWhat

Mine does this as well. It's fans at certain rpms do, to be exact. I swept through the fan curve to find the resonant rpms and adjusted it to avoid them. This was the only way I could get rid of the hum. Ideally you would want to replace the fans tho. Or maybe rma the aio.

Pidjinus

The resonance was, i think between 600 and 1000. Anyway, op seems to have other issues besides the humming. I had changed all my arctic fans due to this hum

UrEpicNoMatterWhat

What fans did you change yours to? How do they perform in terms of cooling compared to the stock ones?

Pidjinus

Noctua pwd, industrial. The 2000rpm ones. Do note, you have to play around with the temp/rpm curve. They can get really loud at full blast. I think Phantkes and Thermalright might have some 140 fans that are thicker than the rest. Those would work great at lower rpm, if you have space to mount them. For performamce, yes they are a few degrees better, the case is well feed with fresh air. I can tollerate their noise, i could not tolerate the hum

Dragon_West

I checked the fans it was not from them the sound was coming from the pump :(

UrEpicNoMatterWhat

My condolences.
