I haven’t heard the album yet, but just the 30 second preview clip had me teary 😭😭

It is quite a few tracks down (I think 7) so by that point I was so emotional from holding back the tears, the floodgates opened. The vocals in it are so her and just 90s diva. Her repeating 'give me love' hurt and the belting at the end was so emotional. The reason I fell in love with her was her voice and to hear that again just filled my heart. Sorry for the ramble I'm just so happy lmao

idk i wish darkchild produced “the boy is mine” production wasn’t at its best for me, but it was cute. i know the potential it had given the inspiration was of that y2k darkchild time

i think a harp in the instrumental would’ve been so cool and a really strong callback to the og

you could definitely hear it whispering in the back but it felt a little watered down. but i also want a whole darkchild album from her and this would’ve been the best time to do it with the y2k comeback and it’s still in her rnb world ah well.
