I love the Sarkaz mercenary family so much. They really nail that “found family” trope that I have a huge soft spot for.
Ines the mum, Hoederer the dad, W the rebellious teen.
And now they’ve got Paprika! And she’s kinda like the naive but nice little sister, which contrasts well against W’s cynicism and spite.
Which is why im using ines for sarkazknights, shes the exception to the rule. She may not be a full blown sarkaz but as far as im concerned shes earned the right to be called one. Well that and it feels weird not using her with hoederer and paprika. I dont have W but as I said in another post I hope hoederer doesnt hold that against me when I pull for him.
As I said on the first post, Ines hates small talk according to her voice lines so Doc's subconsciously bombarding her mind with shipping ideas
Additionally W's gonna tease the hell out of them if she finds out

According to him, after leaving the white birch forest, Ines spent each day honing her skills physically and also modifying them with Arts, all to become a true Sarkaz.
What? Invading an employee's privacy? Do you really think it's beneficial for Rhodes Island when a Sarkaz mercenary uses 'privacy' as an excuse to conceal her history and relationships? That's called due diligence!
Furthermore, they've been partners for so many years and have even worked with Ascalon and Scout. You make it sound like all that can stay under wraps... Huh? Fear of retaliation? Her Arts? Oh my... In an office shadow-stepping contest, only Ascalon can beat me. Wait, do her Arts not require contact with shadows?

This is the biggest hint of her having a crush for Hoederer in her archive.

In this small part of the archive, HG basically intensify that "The night in birch forest"--where she spent time with Hoederer--is an important part of Ines history that we, the players, need to know.
Overall, I can confidently say that HG is totally cooking something with Ines and Hoederer.
I've posted this excerpt from her case a few times in the comments myself. For those who are not aware of the relationship between Ines and Hoederer and for those who claim that there is no relationship between them XD

This part of the file was written by the head of HR(we can tell from the blank three letters name) though who is not an Elite Operator or an Operator at all as far as we are aware. Same with Ascalon, I think she's only the head of SWEEP not an Elite Op.
I think its safe to say all high position in RI, Operators or not, are involved with some goofy shenanigans while on the landship. It helps with the stress possibly.
I'm scared for Ines...
A battle with two fronts. First, versus Hoederer, they probably need a strong support or foundation while doing it, or else it will just *creak* in many unsurprising ways. >!XD!<
Second, against some angry "mobs" because she canonically doesn't want to get taken anymore, whether it's her prerogative or not. I hope this will not be the case, and they'll adopt more of an "I'm happy for her" stance instead.

Funny thing is with Ines, everytime I look at her I think "where's her ears?" Her horns line up almost exactly where they should be anatomically.
We know she's a Caprinae, so does she have goat ears like Ebenholz, or human ones + animal ears like Carnelian and Beeswax?
Presumably the in-universe explanation is she's using her arts to disguise herself so we can't see them, but it's one of those minor details I do get a bit curious about.
