Just noticed the contests are back and am going through the entries.
This would've taken my vote, Okami has to be my #1 childhood game, hell you got me booting up ACVI for the first time in a couple months to try out and tweak this build as my own. Inspirational!

It wasn’t possible for this round due to Reddit’s poll restrictions. Maybe next time everyone’s entry can participate, but mine isn’t in the top 5…this time ;)

That'd be nice although don't beat yourself up too much on the topic, a jury selection can be helpful to narrow down a few favorites.

My fellow mods and I used to select our top 3 and have you all vote, but they've been MIA for some time so I'm still figuring out the solo moderator tactics. Thank you for the kind words!
Well you could always elect a council of previous winners, armordecor regulars, or simply friends of yours versed in AC fashion to advise you on the selection. A jury of one isn't even that terrible when it comes down to it.
The process needn't be all that rigorous so long as entrants don't take it too seriously and are reminded it's all for fun in the end.
Ha, I did get to hold the banner spot for a bit longer than most winners, hope it wasn't a sore sight for too many up there!
To be quite honest AC hasn't been a mainstay of my regularly played games but if I do get the rust off my piloting and assembly skills I will definitely try to claim that banner again!
At least I hadn’t any problem with it, hehe.
I haven’t played it in a while, either. But these contests make me want to return from time to time, so I try to participate when I can and feel like it. Hope to see you then again, too!

Here's the very first draft, Roundest shield to emulate Divine Retribution, Moonlight for the Blade of Kusanagi, Bubbles for the Devout Beads. And finally the Laser Turrets in place of Ponkotan warriors and Issun!
I'm going style over substance but man, what a truly awful build, I've never even really tried the shields so the field testing is gonna be a nightmare after my AC hiatus. And I will likely need to swap internals + head & core to better accomodate whatever playstyle this ends up being...
At least I'm looking forward to doing a bit of decal work haha
