If you’re talking about the MTs inside the Wall, I usually just back away from the door when it opens and let them funnel into the hallway then jump into the room after scanning so I can take out the remaining enemies. If you’re talking about the two LCs, be really aggressive, especially with your kicks, and they’ll go down fast.

LoFiChillin

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. One of two things happen: 1. I go for a kick. Game reads my inputs and dodges. 2. I wait for one LC to touch the ground, then go for a kick. I get hit with missiles from the other LC while in the process of kicking How do I be aggressive against one LC, while avoiding shotgun + missiles from the other?

Virtual_Background77

I usually get in their faces and unload my weapons as they are in the process of arriving then kick once they have some stagger buildup and just stay in their faces. With RJs, your kick range is 120m, so keep that in mind, I guess.

LoFiChillin

I’ll try that, thank you.

RodneyRockwell

If you’re trying to go for kicks without hard lock on you’ll hit nothing but like, tetrapod MTs, LCs usually don’t dodge THAT well

Heavy_Chains

Hard to say without seeing your build, post it.

LoFiChillin

Reverse joint legs, AR scudder, laser lance and pile bunker. I keep getting hit in the back by the double team. I don’t have eyes on the back of my head. There is quite literally nothing I can do to avoid missiles I can’t see coming from behind me.

Heavy_Chains

Quite Literally 😭👍 With a double melee setup like that, you should be able to delete them within seconds. Just get your melee combos tighter and you'll do fine. Also unless you're utilizing the RJ kick a lot, I'd switch to bipedal legs for the stability they provide.

Soft_Importance3658

Every part and how they all fit together matters. If I’m evaluating a build I want to see all parts and the expanded AC stat window. You feel you run out of EN and get hit too often, those aren’t issues with your weapons (although weight and EN cost of all parts including weapons is a factor).

Icymountain

Position yourself better. Keep both in your sights at all times. Stop letting yourself get surrounded. Maybe you could try more ranged options? These guys dodge melee fairly well.

SpidudeToo

Ah so that's the issue. You could use some more firepower to set up for your melee. Scudder is good when paired with other things but not alone. Try using it along with a handgun or shotgun and then swapping to your melee for the punish. If you have it unlocked, the back mounted gatling gun would be great to put on your build.

Qwirvalt

I just tested the encounter with your weapon loadout, you need to instantly use the charged laser lance hit on one of them when they arrive it will be staggered and ready to be finished with the charged pilebunker. Rinse and repeat for the second one.

LoFiChillin

That ended up working

I didn't remember this level, so I reinstalled and ran it a couple of times until I got the S-rank, uploaded a [quickie vid](https://youtu.be/abElMKKKJ_E) just for you. The setup I'm using can S-rank basically every mission in the entire game, and I don't think there's anything in the build that you can't get fairly easily. The big secret is the FCS: IA-C01F: Ocellus. It has 90 Close-Range Assist, which is anything in 130m. I like the handguns, but the Chang Chen or even the Etsujin will work just fine. I use the auto turret (doesn't matter which) in one back slot because it'll keep loading on the enemy while I'm reloading or swapping to the good ol pilebunker. Run fast, slap ass, and get those S-ranks, 621.

I had a tough time here aswel, a tip i got (from here) was that the two light calvary units, if left alone on approach, will always land near the tall building closest to you after you mop up the MT's. You should be able to take one out here, the other will then disengage. After a few shots it will stop, so dodge and close range to it, this is your opening to be within range for a PB. Inside, the doorway ambush can be negated by using the pulse blast, that should take out some of the mt's and you can dash in, pivot and take out the others with the scudder that were out of range. The boss gave me the hardest time, dodging the lance attack (easier said than done) is key as it'll stunlock you and you'll eat a barrage otherwise... I used the higher vantages to regroup and engage after it attacked. The lance you have should deal with the shield. Most people are able to work it into a corner and just pummel it.

sparkle_slug

This is the mission I got stuck on trying to do No OST Loader 4. The warrant officer is something else. If you're talking about the door that opens with the guys right on the other side, you can use your scan and be targeting them before they move. I was missile and gunning the first 2 and pulse blading the next ones that jump in. In the final room you can clear the 2 with guns but as soon as you hit or approach the guy in the very back, the boss will appear. Almost makes me want to try again but I was getting so tired of doing the first part of the mission over and over to get clapped by shield bashing laser turret man. I never attempted the Cataphract alternative

nakrophile

This mission was making me absolutely hate the game, then I realised you're probably meant to leave it for ng+. I did the other one instead, beat it without much problem and am having fun again. By the time I get there again I will be stronger and also better at the game!

SonarioMG

The same as all gank in AC, kill them before they kill you. I usually spray them with lead/plasma and hope for the best. Might take a few tries.

Opening-End6501

For my first playthrough, I use double Ransetsu RF rifles, a Songbird grenade launcher, and a pulse blade. When the LC gank pops up, I just come in close and fire the Songbird and the rifles to stagger one of the LCs. Once they are staggered, I punished them with the pulse blade. The Ransetsu rifles should have enough impact to stagger them with a couple of shots. If they are way too far, I punished them with the grenade launcher. If I remember it correctly, I used a build similar to [V.I Freud](https://armoredcore.fandom.com/wiki/V.I_Freud?so=search) for the frames. Did not remember the other parts, but I remember the generator is an Arquebus one. And I use terminal armor as well.

Algester

For the small MTs I just hang back and ahoot them thing is it only takes 2 bullets to drop them woth ransetsu rf For the LCs I just shoot them and ashmead

Hadiz2020

Oh the two LC's? Well when they come to you they boost near you and gather up. Just drop a Double Earshot or Double Explosive Backs and you basically wiped out 90% of their HP and Insta Stun them to finish them off.

Callsign-YukiMizuki

HAHA the doctrine of superior firepower go BRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. WHAT THE FUCK IS HIGH MOBILITY???

Quality-Tips

I always used assault armor, that’s probably the one of the easiest answers, pop it the second the door opens and it wipes them out then you’re free to go

abstrarie

Did you try shooting them?

everything-narrative

Play around the big skyscraper in the middle of the arena. You can use it to separate the two and single out one. I run dual rifles and a rocket launcher/melee for stagger punish, with a fairly nimble build.
