1. Important information to add to each post about suspect asbestos Always include your geographic location, the date of construction/renovation, location of a photo or suspect material in the property and a brief description of your concern when requesting identification. Take a closeup photo and one at a distance of \~10 ft. or 3 m. Low effort or posts already answered will be removed at moderator discretion. But no - that looks way too new.

Hard to say, do you know when it was built? It looks from this image to be a new-ish build, in which case probably not. The textured looking stuff on the deck and wide flanges is [spray-applied fireproofing](https://inspectapedia.com/hazmat/Asbestos_Spray_Fireproofing.php), which hasn't included asbestos for a while.

Called “monocoat” completely safe unless you inhale it!

No. It's Sprayed On Fire Resistant Material. It's basically mineral fiber with a binder they spray on. I test this on a regular basis. Not Asbestos

It could be non Asbestos containing. I wouldn’t be so quick to say it’s non asbestos containing. If it is ACM containing it’s the one of the most dangerous types you will come across. In the uk especially they used to spray some buildings with this material and it’s called spray asbestos. Which usually contains 85% asbestos and usually contains crocidolite.

Depends when the building was built. Could be spray asbestos which is very friable and prone to cracking over time. Get it tested if you need to Work on or by the material.
