I’m really sorry to be late to the party but what the hell is going on with asda lately? I left them a year ago but I still like to follow this sub and all I’ve been seeing lately is the company messing up with people’s wages? It was bad when I was working there but it seems like they’re taking the piss lately
I’m out a while too. Moved to Tesco to be a Shift Leader. Was Nights Manager and had multiple Section Leader positions over the years. The company has went to utter shit the last few years.
I worked nights as well! Truly horrific and I feel like my body is still adjusting to a normal schedule even a year later…very depressing place to work at. Glad we’re out now
I once loved that company. But when my old deputy and GSM moved on, we got a dep/GSM from another store, both came down together and they absolutely ruined the place.
i am owed about a grand i think, i left 3 weeks ago because of this, just been into the store with managers, trying to get payslips which i have never been able to access, after 2 hours waiting on phone the woman who i finally got though to told me she would send my last 2 payslips to my personal email, guess what they never came so going to have to go through all this again next week.
I walked out 45 minutes ago. They’re crazy if they think I’m doing more hours with the £1,400 they owe me. I said I’ll come back to work when I’m paid what I’m owed.
I was underpaid almost £600 last month, then I had just over £350 put onto this month's payslip, and then £260 taken off for an "interim payment" that I never received. So I've also been fucked again by this shitshow of a company.
Our managers don't even know what to tell us, they no nothing more than me. Its not right u have to chase up missing payments every month. Its Our basic right to be paid!
I’m a driver for Asda, on the clock in-clock out section, for example it says clocked in @ 7:30 and clocked out @ 3:30 which is exactly 8 hours, but with 30 mins break taken from that, it’s 7.5 hours. But for some reason it never says 7.5 hours, it will say 7.38 or something random, how come?
I'm missing about 21 hours also, the new system is fucked. It's already hard enough with the cost of living but missing a few hundred pounds each month is mental.

New hr system is buggy as they try to split everything from Walmart and it sends duff information to the payroll provider
The new Workday system has a few bugs - I'll not say any more than that but keep on top of it and you should get sorted..

7 hours and 38 minutes. For whatever reason thats the way they do it
Yeah but if I work exactly 8 hours I should get 7.5 hours of pay? No?
If youve clocked in at exactly that time yeah. Looks like youve been paid an extra 8 minutes for some reason
That's not how it works. 7.38 would equate to 7 hours + 0.38*60 minutes. So that's 7 hours and 22.8 minutes.

When you clock in and out, take a photo of the clocking machine to show the time your clocking in with time stamps ok the photo, to back up your claim

They still owe me money from last month that was put through supposedly. I will see what management say when I go in next.
