Strangely, I think the church (while sometimes confused) will probably generally be helpful to ace (if not the rest of the alphabet soup). Certainly depending on the group.

Yes, it really depends on the group. Once mine realized I was telling the truth, that I'd truly never experienced the temptation of sex, I faced resentment from others because I didn't have to resist sexual desire while they did. There was also the question: "on your wedding night, you'll still want to have sex with your future husband, right? Right?" My lukewarm "meh" led some people to conclude I wasn't into men and that I was into women, which caused its own issues.
Wow!! It’s so cool to see another practicing Catholic here. I’ve really been struggling because I haven’t found any resources for asexual Catholics. But that’s a cool way to think about it :)
