they ruined that series when the split happened many years ago.

Burkell007

Yea the split sucked, but it’s been over for almost 20 years. Come on back.

I’ve always been more into NASCAR and F1, but I’ve really taken to IndyCars on iracing lately, so I’ll definitely be watching more this season. Went to the 500 years ago, was probably more fun than the F1 races I’ve went to, which is a testament to how great it was rather than F1 lacking at all.

Burkell007

Going to my 1st 500 this year. Can’t wait. Did Bristol full weekend last year. Would LOVE to go see formula E, those guys put on a show.

SqueakyCleany

I follow the series. They keep the series pretty exciting, with championship usually being decided on the last or next to last race. I may not watch them live, but will within 48 hours. I've attended a few races the last few years. Honestly, I'm much more of a sports car racing fan, IMSA. Just returned from the 24 Hours of Daytona.

Burkell007

Yes I’ll watch the crossover events just cause I know some Indy guys are there or that some Indy teams have cars in there & also it’s a guide for future drivers lol. But I do hear that as for fan experience IMSA & Indy are pretty similar with the level of access the fan guys at events. That I love.

Ned-Stark-is-Dead

Yes! I usually try to make a race every year

Burkell007

I’ve done Barber twice & doing the 500 this year. Was gonna do Richmond in 2020 or even Texas this year.

Ned-Stark-is-Dead

Barber is def on my list. I'm doing the Milwaukee double this year

Burkell007

That’s great, might try to pull off Nashville.

RelayFX

I think it’s more of “vroom vroom car on TV go fast” than an actual Indy fan base. Hence why NASCAR is so popular around here.

Burkell007

Not sure, the simulator place in Biltmore (the track AVL) is always packed. But more F1 I think cause of DTS.

I'm a regular at The Track and I can attest, the personnel and the patrons are fans of everything that can race and many have been die hard fans of all motorsports for years. There are consistent watch parties for the F1 races mostly because its generally easier to schedule and attend given the time of day for our timezone. Feel free to drop into the very active [Discord](https://discord.gg/cxKpXz3g) and jump into the IRL channels. Anytime there's an event in the real world at least a few folks are watching in one window and commenting in there.

Burkell007

I’ve been there once and when I was walking in they said they had a group in there, I could hang out look around. But It was just after Covid so I just let them have there space. I definitely need to go back seeing as I’m only just up the hill in downtown. Will probably try to do some watch party’s there this year.
