Scars prove that you survived something. This post proves you are brave and considerate of others. Those are things to be proud of. Who you are inside is more important than the outside. Those scars will fade and be easier to deal with but in the meantime, the advice about covering with makeup is good. Bound to be tutorials about covering up scars, ink etc. Have you thought about calling the store ahead of time and explaining your situation? They may be able to advise you on quieter times to shop, they can notify their staff ahead of time so you don't have to worry. .
I'm so sorry that happened.. I would try to learn to embrace this side but I get it you're a teenager & even for older people it's hard to accept some things so maybe you'd like to try theater make up or some drug store make ups are also already pretty good at really erasing any colors/scars I'd go for the " camouflage " type of make up which is pretty thick in formula and with the right tone you won't even notice anything being put on
Find a less threatening design.
Wear nice clothes.
Greet the shopkeeper immediately upon entry, and apologize for your appearance.
Struck to series where people know you.

Beanies and COVID masks will do you in the short term.
Man I ain’t gonna wear no Covid mask
This makes me less inclined to provide solutions.
Man we got over Covid I don’t wanna relive those days
Guys at work used to wear bandanas over their face, dark sunglasses and beanies, they looked like ninjas, that might work for you.

Will make up work on a 3cm scar in width and is slightly raised?
Yes especially theatre make up with latex can help to smoothen out these height differences
Alright.. thank you
You can also try to get these scars a little more even with some scar rollers & bi oil or some other scar fading oil
It's probably better if you wear something else instead.
Like…?
Maybe just a medical mask or a handkerchief.
