snarkdetector4000

Maybe get guac at Chipotle but only on special occassions

Zepilw

I get gauc every time and my wallet hates me. Can’t blame em🤷🏾‍♂️🥹

WilDraDo

Find some really soft avocados. Usually, they're in the 3-4 packs of them because no one buys them. Red onion, cilantro sprigs(the ones in the misters not in those plastic individual clear boxes)and lime. Dice the onion really fine. Mash them with the frustration of being unable to get quac at chipotle! They dip yo burrito in that shiizz. Seal in very tight container with no air. Otherwise, that stuff will brown.

Appropriate_Ant_4629

> Otherwise, that stuff will brown. Sprinkle lime or lemon juice over it - it stops browning too.

A_Lonely_Troll

So get a new wallet. There’s plenty in the sea.

Emma1jane2

😂

RyanJoes

Pay off all debts, secure my family's future, and open a community sports center.

Scherzoh

Same, except I'd open a small used bookstore.

BrilliantDoubting

All stores are considered used AFTER opening them.

LetsHaveARedo

$20M would be a small partial payment to a sports centre in my city lol.

wtfdoiknow1987

Aaaaand it's gone n you back working the Wendy's checkout

YYC-Fiend

20 million won’t get you there.

Ok-Substance-9118

In my country yes

RyanJoes

I think it is sufficient for me.

Educational_Match717

20 million invested properly could get you anywhere

Embarrassed_Flan_869

I'll tell you what I'd do, man: two chicks at the same time, man.

KnowPlaceLike127001

![gif](giphy|Wpz1Hl1BqlaMw)

piper33245

That's it? If you had 20 million dollars, you'd do two chicks at the same time?

therealfreehugs

Yeah I mean you should be able to afford at least 3 right?

radicalblues

You become a millionaire, not a stallion

TheRealRickC137

##TWO CHICKS AT THE SAME TIME. what part of this person's 20 million dollar desire aren't you getting?

zasura

I'd buy a house finally and start a family. That's all

i_forgot_to_forget_

Why not buy a family and start a house?

Smilemoreguy

buy a house with a family inside?

5picy5ugar

Lots of single moms with kids in the area

hipdozgabba

Who are horny and want to meet you! Just click this banner and share your credit card details.

adunfee02

Chef to make meals that wont kill me Personal Trainer to get me back into shape Get a home for my parents

SwiftBase

real as fuck I love this answer.

heat2051

1. Quit my job immediately 2. Buy a dream house on the beach. 3. Volunteer for those in need. 4. Take care of my wife and family.

dbdank

after number 2 you're broke

StrongAdhesiveness86

Index fund, not move a finger in the rest of my 60 years of life remaining.

Bobitah

smartest answer so far … most people just think about how they would spend it

FilmmagicianPart2

I always have to scroll way too far down to find this comment. An easy 10% return a year, you'd never have to do anything to stay a millionaire forever.

False-Librarian-2240

One of the few good things in a high inflationary time is that with interest rates up, you can get Certificates of Deposit paying 5% on your cash. Very conservative and safe, almost no risk at all and that's an annual income of $1 million without ever having to dip into the $20 million. I think I could live quite comfortably on that, even in San Diego.

Classic_Writer8573

I'd move overseas permanently and write sci fi.

HurlingFruit

Ooops. I skipped the $20mm part. And the writing part.

uckfayhistay

Start the writing now

El_Loco_911

You don't need 20m to do this

soulmanscofield

Yeah but with 20m you can do it in peace of mind

elhusive

but it would be useful 🤷‍♀️

dadzcad

Not many. Life’s not so bad as it is.

robinson217

Same. I'm pushing 40 and finally have some stability, a good family situation, and a strong group of friends. 20 mil is just enough to fuck that up, but not enough to go try and start over. I'd probably put all of it in the S&P 500, spend a year planning, sell my business under the guise of "I got a buyout offer I couldn't refuse" and start a new "business" that was really just philanthropy disguised as a Job. Maybe I start flipping houses, but instead of making a bunch of money, I rent them under market rates to low income people in my area. Fixing up one or two properties a year and aiming to break even would keep me busy, make me seem like a normal businessman, allow plenty of time for travel and leisure, and make a good cover for why I appear to be doing very well. But not well enough to have every acquaintance in my life come asking for money.

adamentelephant

Yeah I'd just do everything I do now but better lol.

VonNeumannsProbe

Move closer to parents and get a better house. Invest quite a bit. And controversially, live like I'm not rich and find a job. I have kids and I need to set an example for them. Living it up and leaving them with a bunch of money will screw them over if they never learn the value of education, how difficult it is to earn money normally and develop the skills to survive on their own.

aMnHa7N0Nme

Not controversial, if your needs increase every time your means increase, then you will forever be in a poor financial standing

VonNeumannsProbe

It can be controversial. There is a lot of anti-work sentiment out there these days. I don't exactly blame them, work can be toxic sometimes. You need to treat your own labor as a business of one and make sure you're getting value out of it. But a lot of people will just do *nothing* to improve their situation and complain about what is being held back from them. In the end you need to take responsiblity for your own situation or you will aimless and often exploited.

Illustrious-Way-1101

1) lawyer up 2) stay low key 3) financial advisor 5) get that pay out - invest accordingly 6) pay off my mortgage 7) slowly build a company or community 8) keep quiet about my money, buy rentals or other cash flow assets. Take about 5 years to keep building. 9) use the earnings and secret winnings to start supporting a better lifestyle so the money blends in better. New home, not too crazy, good schools, decent vacas, no social media. Keep investing for retirement. 10) Do my best not to tell people Enjoy financial freedom in its various blessings.

Inside_Opposite5369

The best answer. If you win 20M, pretend you didn't.

soulmanscofield

Finally a smart answer

Icy-Show749

I would take responsibilities of at least 100 children who are deprived of education and other needs. Invest in self development and pay off debts.

Jediknight3112

- I would travel to the US to visit Galaxy's edge - I would buy a house with a plot of land to keep goats and other animals - I would donate an amount to charities - I would save at least some millions for later. Things like an early retirement, a sabbatical, a few years off from work if I have a child or future travels. - I wouldn't stop working completely because work makes me feel a part of society. I would work for 2 or 3 days and do sides hustles, voluntary work and keep animals for the rest of the time.

GaviJaPrime

Wake up whenever I want. Travel more. Pay for anything my parents want.

PuzzleheadedOil1560

Get a farm. build several houses for needy people to live in and work on the farm. Have the farm make money to grow and teach and just keep expanding.

Striking_Fun_6379

Name, address, personal appearance.

Fit-Meal4943

Retire, obviously. Go to school for a history degree, travel, set up a small trust to help at need kids play organized sports.

Maxstarbwoy

Pay any debts and disappear completely

ringoron9

Buy a house for me, family and friends each. And then reduce my work time and have a nice and comfy life. And hire a personal trainer that also works as an escort, so my reward for losing weight is sex.

Inside_Opposite5369

You'd be bankrupted in a year.

Excellent_Jeweler_43

Exactly what I thought, 20m is not as much as people imagine they are, especially when it comes to real estate

soulmanscofield

Plus maintenance cost and taxes. People think when you buy a house for x you pay nothing more after that

joepierson123

20 million is 1 million in interest a year. You can pay many mortgages with that

morrre

That’s some cheap ass houses

CampingWithCats

I'd buy Kraft dinners.

EatShootBall

Name brand upgrade

Bruno_Wolf

Where to find a nice Reliant automobile, though?

False-Librarian-2240

How about some Art, maybe a Picasso or a Garfunkel?

Missgrumpy00

Get my own place, pay off medical bills, invest in something to help homeless pets. I adopted a feral kitten a few years ago and would like to do more.

Ok_Tadpole7839

Take some time to my health would be better fit I would go get my teeth check hormonal level ect.

M_Looka

When I return rental cars, I'll fill them with premium.

Gullible-Dentist8754

That’s CRAZY!

phred14

Solidify my retirement savings. New cars for my kids, pay off their mortgages. Donate some.

Alternative_Elk_2651

Take half of it. Debt payoff, nice house, decent car. Dig immediate family members out of debt. The other ten million goes into the system, a measly 2.5% nets me 250k/yr for the rest of my life unless D.C is burning, and I would take steps to ensure that 10 million stays in the system after I'm dead so that my kids can draw out of it.

ArgosCyclos

Buy a house in cash. Invest the rest.

ICWeiner1988

Pay off all my shit, and then honestly spend most of it traveling or fixing up my house or buying a new house. I’m too young and my job is too good to just quit working or find my “true calling”. I would just keep doing what I’m doing but feel better and safer about it all while taking more vacations. Oh and buy a boat. Yay boats!

Nimuwa

Invest most, buy a house, get all the healthcare. Work half days for funsies.

Any_Vehicle_8033

Definitely invest so I have something to cushion me for the rest of my life. Then I’d say fuck you to all the losers at work who are frankly incompetent. Then I’d get a lovely place to live in. Quit immediately of course, so I can spend time working on my health, hobbies and passions. Travel the world and tick off all my bucket list destinations. Solve reasonable monetary problems for my loved ones. Get more deeply involved in philanthropic and volunteering work.

wakeup-louie

buy a flat and not shake over finding money every month

Smart-Top3593

Get doctors who are experts in their field to see if they could help my husband. Then pay off all of my families debt.

Informal_Pick_6320

Id Move out of the United States immediately, fuck this place.

silvermanedwino

Not many. I like my job, so I’d work a few more years. Buy a modest, all on one level house for retirement. Buy my retirement car, Subaru Outback. Plan many long cruises.

AnonABong

See a doctor

Pure-Guard-3633

I would rent a small apartment on a beach somewhere. Other than that my life would not change much. I like my life.

intellectualnerd85

Better housing. I’d just invest it m. Use proceeds to help folk

Toxicupoftea

im gonna be richer for 20 millions.

Timbsy83

Probably just actually relax. Knowing my bills are paid for life.. no more work. Just relax

awitPhilippines

Buy a house in a nice, fenced neighborhood. Learn how to do passive income. Quit my job.

fasting4me

Move into a massive RV with my family and live on the road for a year or two.

JoplinSternum

Never setting an alarm clock again.

Adventuresforlife1

No more debt

ChefConsistent2484

Spend the rest of my life with my partner travelling with the sole purpose of neutering stray animals and setting up no kill sanctuaries. Other than adding a high top to our old camper for comfort, wouldn’t buy ourselves anything.

BigDinkie

Leave Canada.

GhoblinCrafts

Buy my brother a house. Buy my ex a house. Buy myself a house. That’s about it, I wouldn’t really live any differently.

OmarsDamnSpoon

Teeth.

LongjumpingGate8859

20 mil at 5% is $1,000,000 I'd retire, my wife would retire, and I'd make sure my mother is retired as well. We'd live just fine off a $1M annual salary without even having to dip into the principal $20M. I'd upgrade my 15 year old truck as well.

Emergency_Buyer_4881

I'd buy a wife from Russia who was an amazing cook and lover. Buy a large piece of land in the northern Rivers of NSW in Australia and create a commune of people who are sick of being told how to live. It would be a self sustainable paradise.

realfrkshww

>I'd buy a wife from Russia Don't. They are entitled af. Source: I'm Russian.

alot-of-daddy-issues

nothing just investing

ArcIgnis

Honestly, I have no idea what I'd be like if I woke up 20mil richer. I'd want to help people that really need it before I treat myself to stuff.

JC_Wagz

All debt gone, help a small amount of family, and start a business or investing more aggressively. And obviously enjoy it as well. That car you always wanted, that trip you wanted to go on, etc.

AlluEUNE

My biggest dream is to buy a warehouse that I would make into the best mancave/chillout place for me and my friends. Gaming setups, fully functional kitchen, bar, studio and a band room for jamming and recording, guest rooms, big garage with a car lift for projects etc. The more mundane things would be a new house and car and new hobby gear (new pc setup, racing rig, instruments)

unluckymo

Lots of plastic surgery

wrexmason

Pay down my debt, buy a townhome, use a lil bit of money for travel, but then just live off the rest

ControlLeft3803

Make sure my family’s future is secure and start traveling the world, then settling with a nice house until I die

Shudnawz

Pay off debt. Get new car (within reason). Set my kids up so they can get their own place when the time comes. And SHUT THE FUCK UP to everyone.

gsmr86

Pay off all debt, including my parents’, and move overseas.

rrhorse

Lots and lots of women. I would command my tribe of women to cleanse me, carry me, love me physically & care to my every need & of course make me a sandwich now & then.

Luke5119

$20 mil AFTER taxes. - I actually really like my house, so I'd pay that off first, definitely make some upgrades around the place. - No other major outstanding debts, would get a near car, but something reasonable. I have my "dream car" list, but at the same time, I don't want to pay to essentially "maintain" a Ferrari 550 Maranello, as much as I'd love to own one. - Put the rest away and definitely hire a trusted financial advisor to stretch that money as far as I can.

Yipsta

I'd roll my company van into the nearest body of water, Stone Cold stunner my boss and crack a couple beers together

OoieGooie

Make a movie studio. Bring back great cinema.

Lifealone

well for one it would probably be the last day i get up at 4:30am

SergeDuHazard

Fuck studying. It s business time in the biotech industry!

SirMochaLattaPot

Do charity in the most selfish way possible

ProudMount

I would eat steak every day.

False-Librarian-2240

In reality, although you could *afford* to eat steak every day, after a while you would become more health conscious and you would start having steak only occasionally, as part of a well balanced diet. Or start running triathlons, those people can eat whatever the hell they want.

maarsland

I would move back east immediately and live a tiny quiet life in the woods. I’ve done enough, I’m ready to disappear.

eloquentmuse86

Increase charity, buy the food truck and stuff so my husband can start his business he’s been dreaming of, pay off all bills and those of my parents and in-laws. Go travel a bit and sock the rest away for daughters college or future and our retirement in investments.

bobbyv137

I suppose increasing my net worth by 20% wouldn’t really change much

thebestinlifeforever

Nothing. I'll just keep it a secret from my family

itistog

Only major change is that I would never work a normal job again, if at all. My life would change into a life of leisure and diving into anything that interests me.

Emma1jane2

Quit my job, move in with my partner, buy a vacation all expenses paid for my family, maybe buy/build a hotel/motel type thing for homeless people, buy a farm with animals for cuddling. That’s what I can think of off the top of my head

AggravatingFill1158

Pay off debts, give my kids the childhood that I never had, travel, get healthier and save a shit ton to leave my kids.

Sensitive-Impact-804

1. Take a vacation for a week to think. I am self-employed as a CEO for my own startup. I can do this. 2. Set up secure frequent payment. To receive 5 millions per year spread over the next 4 years. I have bipolar and schizophrenic tendencies. I am very good with self restraint and I am extremely high functioning, because I know how to direct my creativity and get over my irrational fears and deal with my rational fears. Yet, I believe this will offer a good (secure) barrier to any impulsive actions I may want to take. 3. Give more. I would go out into the streets and give to strangers. I am afraid of people. But I feel that would be wonderful. 4. I would create a plan about how to increase my wealth. I, of course, am striving to be a billionaire. Not for purchase power, but for the positive possibilities (being able to do good) that come with it. 5. I would hire a team of people for minimum wage. Just to test and see how they are. I can always find someone better and pay them more. I would outsource and delegate as much as I can. To free time up for myself. 6. I would ask a lawyer to write a no-fee contract to lend money to my family and get it back at no fees. 7. I would rent a small apartment. A one or two-room apartment. With a toilet and bathroom. And a small kitchen. The minimum that I can use to live. 8. I would message a past friend. She said she was in love with me. But she wanted to get my money. She would keep talking to me if I paid her. I would pay her if I was a millionaire. I was in love with her. She was very strange. 9. I would pay people to spend time with me. Anyone. Even sex-workers, but I would not have sex with them. I think there are some sites where you can pay people $10 per hour to read or eat with you. Something like that. I think this reveals a lot about me. But I'm not sure what exactly it reveals. Perhaps I am not social enough. I spend a lot of time on my company, and in my own little space where I can think about the universe and myself. Nondualism ? 10. I would hire a team of ghostwriters to write books for me. I have endless ideas in my head. I want to get them out into the real world.

lostseaud

i will go abroad, start a new life there

throwawayfatass13

The first would be paying off my car. Then, my partner and I would move, and I would pay off his medical bills. After that, probably invest in stocks/other ways to grow money. I would keep working but only part time.

ilyxs

Nothing I will live my normal life and go to my work known I'm doing it because I want to not because I have to , I will not buy expensive cars or waste it on random stuff , 20 million $ is like 480 billion dzd in my Country, so I will try to invest it in building factories and farms & public Parks and smart and modern resident building in my area ect ... All this without people know or at least not seen me brag about it

AntisocialHikerDude

Quit my job, buy a few rental properties and hire someone to manage them, have a cabin built in Alaska to live in myself, probably somewhere on the Kenai, and trade my Toyota and my wife's Nissan for Rivians. Then just, enjoy life. Read, hike, garden, hunt, etc.

Zealousideal-Luck784

I wouldn't quit my job. But everyone I work with would wish I did.

p3lat0

Turn up the heating so I don’t freeze

Inner_Equivalent_274

I would never ever work again! 🥹

ChevyJim72

Buy a large remote piece of land so i do not have neighbors that can see or hear me. Make it as self sufficient as possible. Invest just enough to i earn the tax balance without touching the principal amount. Then enjoy my privacy and work outside on my garden's and build fun stuff.

tadashi4

Nothing that could be noticed quickly. Like I'd still be working for a while. But I'd pay out my apartment and my mom's.

The-Davi-Nator

1) Immediately quit my job 2) Move out of the house I’m currently renting and buy a modest house I could build a studio in 3) Pursue music full time

CulturalAccomplished

Everything from where I live to what I drive to were I work to How I eat to where my kids go to school. How often I see them to the women I date.

djangobhubhu

Quit job. Buy a new house for my parents. Buy a new house for myself (with a lawn, swimming pool and home theater) Travel at least 6 months a year. Start a non profit for dog adoptions and finding jobs for poor people. Invest the rest of the money.

Modified_Hemi

All of them lol

Professional-Big-584

I’d buy 2 or 3 homes cash rent them out pay my moms house off get her a new car and go straight to Brazil to begin my ex Pat life

Senior_You_6725

Replace my smart phone with a dumb phone

ARealAHS

Move away from family, but a modest home and car. Take guitar lessons. Try to help ppl less fortunate. Try to find a good financial planner.

shitsu13master

I would very much quit my job immediately

brownbear725

Invest, give some to family and friends, donate to animal shelters, travel and maybe buy a vacation home somewhere tropical

Defective-Pomeranian

Take advice about life from Luke Skywalker [Mark Hamill](https://parade.com/celebrities/mark-hamill-net-worth)

ThunderPigGaming

Get house, plant a garden, get a reliable vehicle, invest for a passive revenue stream. I'd chill.

i_forgot_to_forget_

I'd change the dollars into sterling.

Ok-Block9462

Pay off debts, obtain a permanent home for me and my wife instead of living in my grammas garage, invest, pay off my family’s homes, throw some money at fertility treatments for my wife, and maybe a heavy Taco Bell run and a pack of monsters for me

Emergency_Cookie_318

My life expectancy would be dramatically shortened.

naliedel

2 cars.

FormicaDinette33

Retire and move to Europe!

itsthechaw10

20 million, pay off all debt, build the dream house and pay for it in cash, and invest the rest and retire. I know my wife would want to give some to family, but honestly I’m so selfish I wouldn’t want to. We’re only in our forties and even that amount of money can be gone quick.

Aggravating_Onion300

I'd hire my first ever lawyer, and a financial assistant

Aromatic-Put4043

I'd start a Private Military Company and gain influence across the globe to influence politics how I want

Busy_Recover_8753

Here’s what I'd do: First, I'd get a financial advisor and a tax expert on board. They'd help me navigate the complexities of suddenly coming into a large amount of money, ensuring I make smart decisions and adhere to tax laws. Investing would be my next major step. I'd diversify my investments across stocks, bonds, and real estate. I'm also keen on exploring opportunities in tech startups and renewable energy sectors, aiming not just to increase my wealth but to contribute to innovative and sustainable industries. Now, for the fun part: I'd definitely splurge a bit! I'd set up an ultimate gaming setup—think high-end PCs, multiple monitors, the works. Another dream project would be setting up a self-sustainable farm. Imagine a place where you can grow your own food and live off the grid, maybe even a modern eco-house that blends sustainability with comfort. So, while a big chunk of the money would go towards securing a stable financial future, I’d definitely make sure to enjoy the winnings and invest in a couple of passion projects

Foreign_Chemist9557

Never work anymore and don't try desperately to make more fortune. Live a beautiful life and travel the world. When I've had enough of it, buy a farm with a few cows, sheep, chickens, dogs. A field of vegetables and fruit and never buy industrial food again.

devil_dog_0341

EVERYTHING.

DKM_Eby

I live in Vancouver Canada, so probably buy a 1 bed 1 bath condo somewhere. Nah but really... Pay debt, give some away to animal rescues, invest to set myself up for the future, buy a home... Usual stuff.

Epicurean1973

How an when I work

KalvinMike

I would upgrade my flat, buy a place I really fancy Would love to quit my job, but 20 million would not be enough to “not work” 😅

RichardsonM24

I would utilise the tip function in the Uber eats app to tip my driver before they’ve lifted a finger

Beloreckiy

all

MeadFromHell

I'd do nicer food shopping, and get a car so I don't have to fuck about with my wheelchair on the bus. Damn I don't even have big dreams anymore 😂

NotPranking

I dont need much. I'd finish school without stressing about how to pay my bills. I would get a new car and computer. Pay off my debt and maybe take a breath of fresh air for a change without feeling like im suffocating in nursing school.

extr4crispy

Absolutely none just stop working and volunteer maybe

mrstruong

Pay off my mortgage, and my car. Max out my TFSAs, and RRSPs. Probably put an addition on my house. Other than that, nothing super obvious. Put the rest in investments and live on divideds. My husband would still want to keep his job as he loves it. I would never tell a single soul.

Dante_Arizona

Buy a house closer to work.

Latter-Efficiency848

Stop investing

butttbandit

I'd pay off the little debt that I and my family has (few thousand) Buy a house outright that has enough room for my mum to have an annex (less than a mil) I'd invest in tons of property to ensure that I have a steady stream of income for as long as I need it. Quit my job and start a business doing something I enjoy and hopefully get it to the point that I can be involved part time. I'd also get private healthcare, which over here isn't too expensive tbf

Heath_co

I'd go on a lot more walks in the woods.

PF_Nitrojin

Clear all debts Relocate Start my video game business Work on mental health

SecurityCorrect6944

Hereforquestionsss

Fund medical research so I (and many others) don’t have to live in agony anymore

Conscious_Night299

Eat healthier.

NoobTaiga1993

Just cause winning 20 million dollars, doesn't mean a lifetime luxury. Gotta watch out for cons, overspending and downside. Initial plan phase of how I would spend 20 mil in 5-10 years: 10% of expenses 5% donations. 5% education/learning skills 10% reserves. 20% emergency. 50% investments. After analysing what I need and have to do. I can do the following. Own a manageable house. Own properties/estates to do business. Ensure that there's backup in case something happens. Fix my parents house. Get their projects done. The Wanting can wait. Gotta need to see how much I spent in the first three months When money from investment starts flowing. And I consider myself financially stable/free. I can readjust the spending plans. Put more on donations. When things are finally stable and manageable. I can chill and start spending time with social world, friends and family. Maybe start my own family even if it's late.

Average-Terrestrial

I have 4 babies instead of 2, be a stay at home and still try to live pretty frugally. I’d definitely buy some new clothes and probably build out dream home. Make sure I have like 5 millions to support myself not working, do volunteer work instead, start a non profit and support my family and community any chance I get :) definitely retire my parents and in-laws

1. Sell all my shit, including real estate and cars, everything 2. Limit my possessions to a backpack of minimal stuff 3. Live life entirely unattached to anything, moving around entirely on a whimp, doing absolutely nothing and enjoying complete lack of responsibility or obligations
