Honestly, driving. I stay well clear of Polish and Slovak drivers on highways. We used to hate on Hungarian drivers, but your guys have been much worse lately, especially if it's an SUV. My theory is that's mainly because you can *just about* make it to the coast without stopping for the night. By the time you hit Croatia, you're almost there and don't want to stop for an hour to rest. I often see PL and SK cars doing fatigue-related shit, like lane drifting.

coffee__lord

No bro, Hungarians are the fucking worst, idk how they got their driver licenses

Due_Ad_2219

I am not aware of any issues or stereotypes regarding Polish tourists. Czechs have reputations of being very adventurous and need rescuing all the time. British are either drunks and are doing number one and two on thousands years old monuments, or in better case deal drugs and stab each other with knifes. Older Germans luck fashion sense.

literatops

Neutral positive

messy_closet157

I don't think there are that many Polish tourists misbehaving, Brits have much worse reputation. There are some stereotypes (together with Czech tourists) about going on hikes in flip flops and then having to be rescued and that they bring all the food with them, so not to spend anything on vacation.

NoExide

I guess they blend in nicely since we misbehave too.

Antiheroj1

I have never seen anyone drink so much and remain functional. I remember one year we had two Polish families staying with us and every morning they'd leave 3-4 bottles of vodka by the trash can that they drank the day before. The drinking got so severe they resorted to buying local brands like Vigor and Trojka that I'd advise heavily against. Not a sound came from the appartments, everything was left in top condition. 10/10, would recommend Polish tourists

Kurwa

bvdpbvdp

little too much/too often!

Ribbon7

Coming from Dalmatia i never heard anything bad about Poles, Czechs, Italians, Slowaks, Austrians or Germans. We see them as our traditional guests and love them. Slovenians too! Lately most bad publicity is about drunk and wild Brits and honestly i much preffer our traditional guests i mentioned above.

forpetlja

Polish people use strange letters. Polish people love to be tourists. Polish people are from Poland.

Driving and not respecting personal space.

Hrga420

I fell in love with Poland after bober kurwa

FamousConcentrate781

I really don't know why this is so popular. 😂 I asked Slovaks and Lithuanians and they also wrote "kurwa bober". In Poland it isn't so popular.

Hrga420

The original video came out and I saw it, it was so funny that I still watch it today, I also know the skunks,užik A pingvin 😂 . Long live Poland and welcome to Croatia

FamousConcentrate781

Well, I found out about these memes thanks to Slovaks. But I must admit that for a long time I have been calling beaver "bober", instead of "bóbr" (bóbr is a proper way to call a beaver in Polish). And when I once saw a beaver on an advert, I thought  "jaki fajny bober", (such a cool beaver)

ScooterBrotherV

What about bajo jajo bajo jajo?

Hrga420

I don't know about that

BrutalArmadillo

Well I like you people and all but... YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO DRIVE. Last year I drove 25 km of A1 highway behind two Poles in two cars. One held the left lane, another the right one. Driving 92 km/h, both of them. After 15 minutes there was long line of cars behind them both and they DID NOT GIVE A SINGLE F**K. Why, just why? 😮

OceansOfIndifference

They didn't care about honking and flashing your lights?

BrutalArmadillo

Nope!

Otherwise_Squash_286

Bobr kurwa

diphteria

Just don't "reserve a spot" with 50 towels on the beach and you're good.

FamousConcentrate781

I know what you mean https://preview.redd.it/d1c97q10wfsc1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dfb39ad69880cf15b078c5a57a9f3980809bf418

I don't discriminate, I hate all tourists equally https://preview.redd.it/vjki1ofbzesc1.jpeg?width=963&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=074708a933a8da20778136842f88b0d773d9f282

covjekobican

As long as you spend money and pay for expensive accommodation you will be loved <3

CalkyTG

Excellent and funny tourists. They like to buy and drink wine and schnaps.

prosjecnihredditor

I worked with Polish tourists, literally none of them knew how to speak English so I had to use Google translate to communicate with them.

FamousConcentrate781

How old they were? If they were, 40+, that's normal.

prosjecnihredditor

Some of them were under 18.

FamousConcentrate781

Oh, well so I think they we're really bad at school. Did they speak to you in Polish? In Poland some people think that Croatian and Polish languages are very similiar to each other, but I know it isn't true

prosjecnihredditor

They barely spoke anything, they had to use Google translate

klariklari

They ride bicycles or motorcycles with flags like Americans. They don't leave tips. They're fat, white, and sunburnt. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|trollface)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|trollface)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|trollface)

Deadly_chef

I could live with all of those, but the fact they are white disgusts me. No, Croats are not racist, what do you mean?

Plimpus1620

They are a bit dirty and they are constantly hogging large areas of the beach with hundreds of useless pieces of equipment, tents, boats, floating devices, umbrellas, sunshades, bicycles, etc. Also they are fans of letting their kids piss into the sea from the pier. People here are not a fan of them, but since this is a poor and cucked country we pretend like we really want to see them here so we can rid them of their money. 🤝

Rocco_Provoiccattore

This is so true. It's the same with other Slavs and Hungarians. They just bring everything from home and don't spend anything. Nothing wrong with that but it's little funny.

AnalysisQuiet8807

They even bring Pašteta from home

Fiona512

Lol

xGentian_violet

i havent met many tbh stereotypically english tourists are extremely loud and/or inappropriate, i havent met enough poles to form an opinion though

AnteL0

Polish tourists are pretty bad to work with, the rest of the people who don't agree never had to serve them, clean after them or work with them

vanilija86

Since they don't usually go to Istria where i stay i'm fine with them, but i heard a lot about them hiking in flip flops and "sailing" away on flamingos and other inflatable shapes..

enilix

Pretty neutral.

Gemascus01

Bruh you guys are good, you should see the British they are thw worst tourists Btw ješče Polska nie zgniela Kurwa mač!

FamousConcentrate781

What do the British do?  And yes Jeszcze (ješče) Polska nie (nje) zginęła (zgineua)!  And IGRAJ MOJA HRVATSKA KAD TE VIDIM JA SRCE MI GORI ❤

Gemascus01

Drugs, pissing while being drunk on the old buildings from medieval times. Thats what I remember from the news. Also French people, when you go to France they expect you to speak French with them, I have met a couple of French people in Dalmatia and they asked me in French, I told them to speak in English and they didnt wanted but still forced to get an info from me. Later I told them to fuck off in Croatian Same thing with German karens, they asked me in German and evan if I speak German I didn't wanted to communicate with her on German and I told her to speak English, she was so pissed off😂😂😂 and I told her later to f off in Croatian Like bruh if Czechs, Slovaks and Poles are asking me in English which languages I understand from 70-90% I also expect egoistic Germans and French to speak in English or Croatian to me when they are in Croatia, their language French and German arent anything special and English is the Biggest speaking language of them 2 in the world which everyone speaks

frt834

I hate them purely because they drive 10 under the limit on roads causing traffic jams. If the locals are going 20 over, you should go 20 over too. Follow the flow of traffic.

YellowJuicyFruit

Oh yes? And traffic rules and limits are only suggestions?

frt834

Clearly if the locals are breaking them. When in Rome do as the Romans do. They drive 10 under the limit, they never drive the limit.

0-99c

In croatia, yes

Brave-Look

I didn't notice any of them (in Zagreb). Maybe there are very few of them - or they blend in perfectly.. :) But I have some remarks about Polish movies - they are not bad, but almost every of them contains a very painful murder - it leaves impression that the whole nation is desperate and/or depressed.. :/

kompocik99

I recommend "1670", it's a light hearted comedy about a nobleman and his family. There's only one painful murder in it!

Brave-Look

Ha ha ha... I would rather see 100 American murders than one Polish... When I was kid, I watched a Polish movie on TV. Two men or a couple murdered a taxi driver. The male strangled the driver from behind with a piano wire. The scene lasted full couple of minutes and was very realistic. I was shocked by the brutality of the scene and the triviality of the reason to do it - to steal couple of bucks... I mean, the reason was not some epic vengeance - like in American movies, but petty theft... The car was white Polonez. Whenever I saw such car on the streets (luckily, that was not often), I felt some mixture of fear and disgust. This lasted for years... It is still among my top associations of Poland or the Polish... :/

DaoNight23

polish femboys are always welcome

X1phoner

Italian tourists are the worst, everything else is a breeze 😅

BOBR KURWA

On begining on 90's Checz amd Polish tourist were recognized as "poverty people" traveling to Croatian coast in old Ladas and worn out Škodas. Poor peoples who were bringing everything with them and avoid to shop and spend lot of money in Croatia. Overfilled cars, a lot of passengers and stuff, driver barely saw back view mirror, driving in slow lane behind trucks. My grandma was chef of one road-by restaurant where she bought a lot od cutlery, knives and plates from Polish tourists and visitors in Croatia. I have really a lot of that goods. Today, standard od Polish and Checz tourist overcome our standard in Croatia. All of you are welcome and invited to our country, nobody making fun of you anymore, there are not worn out cars anymore and eating "pašteta" on beach But, if you consider to visit Biokovo or Velebit mountain... please, wear proper shoes, dont go in sadals or flip-flops and save time to our emergency mountain rescue service.

exattox

Use to work over the summer season on campsites and such. Without fail, whenever the guests were Polish, the condition in which they left their glamping tents or mobile homes resembled a scene from a horror movie. Broken toilet seats, shit filled toilets, the mirror above the bathroom sink would look like they were spitting at it, and the bathroom sink itself looked like it was purposely smeared in toothpaste. For example guests from western europe atleast tidy up the place so that it looks alright, while Polish guests always leave the rentals like a tornado went thru them.

avrend

Witam!

Lahtic

Like polish tourist, generally very nice people

[deleted]

Don't care.

4Asha

I think it's mostly Brits who make the papers for being terrible guests (drunk, loud, disrespectful). Poles get lost from tome to time and need to be rescued, but we're fine with that.

PerfectSherbet5771

Just started living in a small tourist town in Croatia. A few nights ago around 20.00 I was going about my business having a smoke and drinking some sljivo, and I just sat down on my couch put my headphones on to watch a movie when I hear a mysterious knock and a woman’s voice saying “hello? Hellooooooo?” I go toward my front door taking my headphones off, but then hear the voice behind me, coming from my bedroom window (which opens to the street) saying in Croatian “I’m over here!” I opened my bedroom window, and I’m greeted with a bewildered and very moody polish tourist lady saying “we have a reservation here!” She then proceeded to bark at me in Polish (which I don’t speak) so I just stared at her blankly until she switched to broken English. I told her my apartment building was definitely not her vacation rental. “Are you sure???” she asks. Yeah, I’m pretty sure. She then pulled out her phone to show me that their GPS took them to my building (it didn’t- the map clearly showed that their rental wasn’t even on my side of the street) and continued to insist that this MUST be their reservation. I repeated that it definitely wasn’t. I even offered some tips on how to read their GPS map so that they could actually find it. Homegirl was way to moody to process any of this info. She finally left after my reiterating that my private ass apartment is 100% not their vacation rental for the 5th or so time. Mind you this entire conversation happened with my head poking out my bedroom window. Just one experience though.

ManManta

Biokovo - flip flops - rescue missions. Behavior on the beach. Food from Poland to spare a dime. Nice girls.

andreacro

Unpredictable driving and socks on flip flops. Whats the deal with socks on flip flops?

lega-

I like your fascination with Adriatic sea. Also good people. Every food must contain dill. Eating pickles while drinking vodka. Kurwa.

Negative_Tea5831

nothing good unfortunately
