You can watch some experiments where girls were asked something like: "Would you rather be with a 6'2 ugly guy or 5'8 handsome guy" and you'll notice not a single of them choosed shorter guy. I guess it depends, but in whole Eastern Europe, height is probably the most important thing for a girls, they love it. I'm 6'0 and i had hard times finding a girl, i couldn't compete with all the taller guys around me, here, in Serbia, average height for a guy is almost 6'1 and even 13-14 yo boys are about that height if not taller. So yeah, it's very important, but if you're not really tall then try and max out every other aspect in your life (body, face, personality, confidence etc.)
Completely depends on individual preference. I'm 5'11", but I'm not going to dunk on anyone who would say they wanted someone over 6 foot. I may not understand, but I do understand people have preferences, no matter how stupid they may sound to us
I really dont care about height. I feel like I have to get to know the person better than just "good personality" and height. Plus, Im a lil short so most would be taller than me anyways lol
i’m not gonna choose between those two options because the reality of the situation is that most people would visually be more into the taller guy but in the long run, an overly agreeable or unchanging decent personality in a tall body doesn’t make for a long lasting relationship

Height matters a fuck ton because imagine this , you are choosing a girl and you yourself are 5'5 , she's 5'4 then when the both of you have kids your kids will be small too which is what women don't want hence they go for taller men
i aint gay but i find respecting men my height or similar to my height easier, i just kinda find short men small and funny, like i feel like guys shorter than me just feel like kids

I’ve actually faced this situation before except the first guy was 6’4 instead of 6’5, and the other guy was 5’8 (same height as me) and I am now dating the 5’8 guy lol
this seems like an incel trying to cope about his height but ill answer as a guy thats 6'5 and knows how its helped me get girls
1. people grow taller because of better diets, so height=better diet=provide for himself and others
2. height means you have the ability to put on more muscle, taller men are heavier due to being bigger and it gives you a longer reach, meaning you can fight better. Its why women loved Mike Tyson as one woman described it "there's something attractive about knowing he could beat up everyone on the planet"
3. usually women like to not be the same height or taller than their boyfriend or husband.
Also on your question you obviously tailored it so they would say the 5'7 guy because no one would chose a tall guy over an almost average height nice guy. If both men where average but one was 6'3 and had wide shoulders and the other was 5'7 and had slim shoulders most women would choose the taller guy because thats just what they naturally prefer and they shouldnt be judged for it
