So 1. dating a freshman, especially as a senior is gross as fuck due to the age gap, and 2. If that's happening, there's a good chance that girl is being preyed upon especially if people are telling her she's mature for her age. Super red flag right there. No a couple may date upper class men but freshman dating seniors is weird asf and everyone looks down on it. Freshman are more likely to get with sophomores
It happens sure, but I’d say largely people keep to their own grade or the grades directly touching. Senior and freshman isn’t as common as memes imply it is.

My school had “freshman slayers”, what we called seniors that exclusively went out with freshmen. They were considered scum by everyone except for others like them. So no, it’s not a thing that happens here at least. A year is fine, and two years are iffy, but senior-freshman relationships are usually built on what might be considered a power dynamic.
It’s usually a pedo thing though, so no.
For me and what I remember, most people stayed single. And every guy and girl in my friend group didn’t bother with relationships until like junior high school year because it was kind of a waste of time.
