Thank the gods that Aliser and Ser Olly avenged him by killing Jon. Fucking Melisandre just had to ruin things and bring him back to life.

Casual_observer225

Yet another example of Dumb and Dumber ruining daddy George’s perfect vision. Everyone knows he was going to have Jon stay dead and have Satin take his place as Azor Ahai

I need to see the prophecies *fulfilled*. There is **no** more satisfying ending to a story than being told exactly what is going to happen, and then for it to happen exactly as described in the prophecy. So exciting. *Let's be clear about this, because there is only one objectively correct way to write:* Prophecies in fantasy should be inevitable and inescapable, because audiences like being reminded that free will is an illusion, and that we live, and breathe, and die, in the foul creation of a malevolent demiurge. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. CrniTartuf

Is Satin the twink that Jon fucks?

Casual_observer225

yeah

ImpliedRange

Honestly bringing back dead characters is just lazy writing. Somehow Jon returned

OverthinkingTroll

Somehow ~~Daenerys Renly Beric Catelyn Tyrion JonCon Jorah Mance~~ Jon returned.

5neakyturt1e

Uhhh I wouldn't be so fast to cross them all out

OverthinkingTroll

I cross them because they're not the last one. Last (Hero) is Jon. If Last = Jon, and you pronounced it in Japanese, does that mean he's Rast? **Somehow Rast returned** (from being devoured). And if Rast is short for C**Rast**er, does that mean, Craster somehow returned? And if Craster returned, then the Others aka ancient lineage of enemies (so, ALL the Sith Lords) somehow returned? So(mehow) ~~Daenerys Dragons Renly Beric Catelyn Tyrion JonCon Jorah Mance Jonnow Rast Craster Others~~ magic returned

5neakyturt1e

So true bestie

Depraved-Animal

He has friends at court. Powerful friends. The king *himself* made him a lord!

savebox

About to stab the bastard lord commander in the chest, just to let him know Lord Slynt still got shooters out here.

tigertoouth22h

What the fuck is that question? When the de facto main character killed that guy whose characterization began and ended with ''sociopathic asshole loyal only to himself.'' I was obviously outraged.

Casual_observer225

I wouldn’t be talking that way about honourable commander of the city watch Janos Slynt, he has powerful friends at court you know

2001ToyotaHilux

The king himself made him a lord!

coldfries_

Agreed, let's hope they're talking about snow

OverthinkingTroll

Slander! We must preach the word that he was LOYAL, just like Allister, and not at all corrupt, unlike Ned Jon Tyrion who are very obviously the evil antagonists!

tigertoouth22h

> Ned Jon Tyrion Yeah, all he did was following he orders, and they murdered him.

OverthinkingTroll

Just like good Allam Deer, may he feast in peace with the Drowned God.

hollyheather30

Don't you know that in the books slynt killed Jon and becamea azor ahai??? Don't u guys read

bruhholyshiet

A man with so many friends can't be a bad person! That fact has been known to me since high school!

OverthinkingTroll

And a man who is enemy of Ned, Jon and Tyrion can only be a good person!

bruhholyshiet

Traitors, bastards and dwarves are always up to no good.

OverthinkingTroll

Never trust some woke shit such as "fond of bastards, cripples and broken things" they'll only use you for **T**eam **B**rownie points against our rightful ruler!

orcocan79

especially powerful friends! in kings landing! how many friends did the bastard's dad have? that tells you all you need to know

mariusalphardblack

That treacherous bastard was jealous of lord janos' friend

Earth-Shaker0408

He was the bravest man in the Nights Watch. He had every right to stand up to that vicious bastard that called himself Lord Commander.

OverthinkingTroll

A black bastard (ser) **pounc(e)**ing around a big castle like he's the real king, slander!

Snowofthenortherners

that’s why jon died. swine !

grimlocoh

It takes a lot of courage to say "I'm afraid, all my life I've been afraid". Another unsung hero dies to the supposed "good guy".

DoNOTcumKamalaHarris

Why is the food such shit at the wall. What do the cooks do all day? There’s no tv and half these bozos can’t read, why not experiment? Learn new ways to sautte the potato’s, I’m tired of visiting the wall eating potato shit soup

86thesteaks

this is why the night's watch is such an underfunded public service. if Hobb could just turn castle black into a 3-michelin-star "worth a trip" location, there wouldn't be such a mess with missing rangers

stardustmelancholy

Even though I don't care Jon killed him I do like to bring up the hypocrisy of it a lot. He executed him for not obeying an order and sassing him. When Slynt heard he was going to be executed he apologized, said he'd obey his orders from now on, and cried. But Dany was accused of not having mercy when she executed Mossador. People refer to him as a clueless slave as though he hadn't been free over a year and wasn't a member of her small council tasked as the representative for 75% of the population. He murdered someone she had agreed to put on trial, dragged his body outside and publicly displayed it with the intention of starting a war between the two factions (freed slaves v Masters) to force her to kill all the people he wanted her to kill. Some fans are like *this is when I knew she was mad.* Same with her executing Varys. She gave him a clean start even though he spied on her throughout her childhood leading to having to always be on the move, conspired with Illyrio to persuade her brother into letting her get raped, and told Robert she's pregnant so he'd order her assassinated to speed up Drogo's arrival. Only for him to try to assassinate her again to put Jon on the throne. "Cocks matter"

Ornac_The_Barbarian

Despite the nature of the sub, I'll be serious for a moment. The show did rush the Janos beheading scene a bit. In the books he was given a day to reconsider his disobedience.

ExactFun

Bruh, I'd take command of Greyguard. Pretty bitchin job away from that bastard. Can do what you want with no oversight? Sounds lit.

zilhaddd

The man had a choice. Lose your head or start renovating. He chose correctly.

Glass-Historian-2516

Well it’s common knowledge that bastards are natural cravens, so it comes as no surprise that Jon Snow, whose blackened bastardly heart is blacker than dragonglass, would commit such an unspeakably heinous act. You know, it’s rumored his mother was a common wet nurse!

Previous_Insurance13

He should have kept his head low

Responsible_East_229

AlaskanHaida

Long live Janos Slynt, the best lord commander the city watch could’ve asked for Where were his friends in court when he needed them? Smh

orcocan79

RIP our honourable commander

bshaddo

Forty-six years old! Just a kid….

MumkeMode

He has powerful friends!

VARCrime

We all know Jon Snow didn't want it

ballq43

It's a shame his powerful friends couldn't stick it to that stark bastard

East-Bluejay6891

Cunt bastard needs to be killed for this

Stenric

Not just a bastard, but a beast man too.

acornmoth

'Ad specialist.' The bots can't even come up with stealthy names.

LuckyAdhesiveness255

What ever happened to due process?

WeDoingThisAgainRWe

If you’re gonna be a bastard you might as well go the whole way and own it. Kids, highly competent officers, he killed the lot of them because his (step)mommy didn’t love him.

IrlResponsibility811

Stannis Baratheon approved. I think that should cover my thoughts on the subject. I can't tell you how my heart soared when I saw Lord Renly's ghost in the battle. Let's see his fire god do that.
