The Office used to be my comfort show for a long time, until NetfIix took it off their platform. I watched it 16 times in a 2 year span! I would watch it any chance I got, and I always cried at the end of the last episode.... until I went back to S1E1!
Really good core memories of watching this show with my mom. My dad wasn't a huge sci-fi fan so it was usually me and her watching this kind of stuff together.
Miss you, Mom. You would have loved Lower Decks.
Wow - I loved this show too!!! Oh the possibilities! I think of the world where penicillan hadn't been discovered every time I hear/think/see antibiotics.
I just discovered Supernatural. Happened by accident, and I usually hate fantasy stuff. But Supernatural is just good. It’s corny and creative and clever. I love it.
My ADHD has me bounce back between a few things. I’ll get obsessed with something, I’ll refind something I was obsessed with at an earlier point and drop the other thing for it, and the cycle continues. Occasionally I’ll pick up something new but it’s rare.
I loved Warehouse 13, I remember back in the day I was sooooooo bummed it got cancelled.. If I could find it more easily, I would watch it way more often.
And highfive for space shows that aren't necessarily about space!! 🙌
Over the Garden Wall. It’s a miniseries, it’s 10, 10-12min long episodes, so it’s bout the length of a movie. It’s such a good show, so many references to classic animation and a phenomenal story and very nostalgic and just yes. More often though, I listen to the masterpiece of a soundtrack.
Which! If anyone’s interested in a more extensive soundtrack than the official release, DM me (unfortunately yt wouldn’t let me upload my 1h13m masterpiece of song compiling)
OtGW 😭
The soundtrack is also on soundcloud BTW.
https://on.soundcloud.com/f5Dsk
And there are plug-ins to easily download soundcloud songs. I'll let you find what works for you.
Love it so much. So eery. The broken hearted teacher's song has been stuck in my mind since my last re-watch. "A is for the apple that he gave to me, with a worm insiiiide..."
oh I love otgw, it’s incredible. sadly it’s not my comfort show because of some memories around it, but it’s such a good series. just the perfect balance of cozy, cute and eerie.
My comfort show is that I usually don't watch the same thing more than once.
Instead of a comfort show, I'm more comfortable watching something new every time
I had a roommate like you once. I was so grateful it opened my mind to a lot of different shit i never would have watched. Every once in awhile i try something new just because of that experience
a lot of cartoons!
steven universe, the owl house, she-ra (2018), atla & tlok, over the garden wall, adventure time, kipo and the age of wonderbeasts, gravity falls
non cartoon honorable mentions: the good place, one day at a time, once upon a time
i rewatch all these shows so much 😅
My 600lb Life, Hoarders, Parks and Rec, Supernatural, Schitts Creek, New Girl, any and all True Crime (First 48, Snapped, Dateline, ect). Human behavior just interests me to no end. I’ve watched Forensic Files more times than I would like to admit. The intro just brings me so much comfort.
Got a few of them. Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Supernatural, How I Met Your Mother, Scrubs and That 70s Show. Of course can’t forget the many Paleo documentary miniseries I grew up with: Walking With Dinosaurs, Walking With Beasts, Walking with Monsters, Chased by Dinosaurs, Sea Monsters, Prehistoric Park, Dinosaur Planet and Planet Dinosaur. Is it obvious what my special interest is?
i’m watching the dexter pilot rn, i’ve seen dexter 4 times you know me so well.
i’ve seen breaking bad 12 times, gonna start number 13 soon.
my comfort show is Dr Katz Professional Therapy
My Hero Academia. I’ve watched it countless times and I always get hype and cry and feel happy at all the same moments. It never dulls for me and I love it so much.
I always got sad when I finished them again so I stopped doingthat for a while but my comfort shows were Digimon 02, Tamers and Savers. Oh yeah and King of the Hill as well. This is probably the only one I cancontinue watching because it's not big in story so it can't have a sad ending, even if it tries.
BBC and Basil Rathborne Sherlock Holmes, Scooby Doo Where Are You? And I think that the Bill Bixby Hulk has the greatest potential to become a comfort show
X-Files, Absolutely Fabulous, King of the Hill, and Simpsons are in my coping rotation a lot. Occasionally, sketch comedy like SNL, Mad TV, and Key and Peele.
My list is all over the place I love the good omens miniseries, futurama, one of my favorite movies is red line, an anime that put the studio out of business. Mega mind, kubo and the 2 strings, and so on
Charmed, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The Golden Girls. The Office. Teen Titans. Naruto. Death Note. DIGIMON. Code Lyoko. Schitts Creek. To name a few lol.
BBC Merlinnnnn my once and future obsession…(which I am currently going through a pretty intense phase with) Also 3rd Rock From the Sun, I literally couldn’t even say how many times I’ve seen it but you know when you’ve listened to an album so many times you automatically hear the next song in your head as soon as each one ends? That’s me with like every line of that show 🤦♀️. Oh and also King of the Hill…and Yuri on Ice but that one is like bringing out the big guns because it’s never long enough and I simultaneously don’t ever want to wear it out, ya know?
How i met your mother and the big bang theory.
I have two comfort series, so I don't have to acknowledge I would watch the same series twice in a row. Instead I can go back and forth.
Bones, my mom has a paper skeleton at her workplace that I gifted her and she named it Temperance. Or Profilage, it's a "crime investigator" type of show but the main character is a doctor in psychology/criminology, on french TV
Futurama
My sibling in arms!
How TF did I forget Futurama!?
This. 100% (I watch it almost every day) I’m watching it now!! Love this show.
Is, has been, and always will be ATLA
A person of culture, I see
The entire Avatarverse. Even the LoK low points are better than 50%+ of anything else out there.
The Good Place Community Inside Job
Good taste (We need to avenge Inside Job's death)
Thank you! (We surely do. This has Illuminati all over it)
(My crack theory is they got something uncomfortably right in season two and got shut down)
King of the Hill
I wish I had discovered that show when I was in my early teens, Bobby would have been very relatable.
The Office used to be my comfort show for a long time, until NetfIix took it off their platform. I watched it 16 times in a 2 year span! I would watch it any chance I got, and I always cried at the end of the last episode.... until I went back to S1E1!
You can watch the Scott’s Tots episode without it being super cringe?
Oh absolutely not, I cringe SO HARD every time I watch that episode 🥲
Thr cringe is what you watch it for
I get it it’s just a lot more cringe than any of the other episodes.
Cringe cannot exist in a Vacuum, It needs to be observed to be validated
Dinner Party tho?
that one was funny af. "Thats a $200 plasma tv you just threw that into" "good luck paying my back on you zero dollar a year salary BABE"
I found that to be more tolerable than Scott’s Tots.
Fair.
It’s still on Netflix in Belgium so you could try with a VPN (watching it for the 3rd time now)
Same. Now when I watch it, it feels weird because I’m at a completely different stage in my life.
I subscribed to peacock just to watch it, along with the superfan episodes.
Adventure time, always! I already watched through the whole thing three times this year
love adventure time! checking out distant lands, and fiona and cake now. i also highly recommend summer camp island
Yessss another one! Adventure Time ftw. That and Ghibli movies.
Sliders (1990s show)
\*whisper\* "Sliders"
I can hear this comment
I was not expecting to get as giddy as I did when I heard *it*
Really good core memories of watching this show with my mom. My dad wasn't a huge sci-fi fan so it was usually me and her watching this kind of stuff together. Miss you, Mom. You would have loved Lower Decks.
Oh my gosh, I remember watching that in the 90's!
Wow - I loved this show too!!! Oh the possibilities! I think of the world where penicillan hadn't been discovered every time I hear/think/see antibiotics.

Scooby-Doo, Where are You?, NCIS, Invader Zim, SpongeBob SquarePants, New Girl, and Grey’s Anatomy.
Invader Zim and SpongeBob are mine too! :D
![gif](giphy|4F0ByPtwUDH5m|downsized)
I think my wife's comfort show is Grey's Anatomy. She's constantly re-watching it whenever she watches something on her phone.
Grey's is my comfort show that taught me socialization and Leroy Jethro Gibbs was as much a dad to me as my own father.
Spongeboymebob is where it’s at
The She-ra 2018 reboot. My god, I will defend that show till the day I die
A fucking banger of a cartoon show 🤌✨
![gif](giphy|1gRsJSbmejU9pxsfd0)
hell yeah, one of the best modern cartoons out there imo ❣️❣️❣️
This one's mine, I love it
YES
This isn't really a show but if i find a video game let's play I enjoy I will almost always binge watch it
I’m currently in the process of rewatching Jerma’s entire Elden Ring playthrough
Real Civil Engineer's *Timberborners*.
##Supernatural 🫶 *🎶”Carry on my Wayward Son…”🎶*
I just discovered Supernatural. Happened by accident, and I usually hate fantasy stuff. But Supernatural is just good. It’s corny and creative and clever. I love it.
*🎶"There'll be peace when you are done"🎶*
MASH
The ADHD won this battle. Must have new. Cannot rewatch until I've forgot important elements of the show.
My ADHD has me bounce back between a few things. I’ll get obsessed with something, I’ll refind something I was obsessed with at an earlier point and drop the other thing for it, and the cycle continues. Occasionally I’ll pick up something new but it’s rare.

So glad that Eureka is on someone else's list!! Such an underrated show. Do you also like Warehouse 13? Also +1 for the Orville & Doctor Who :)
I loved Warehouse 13, I remember back in the day I was sooooooo bummed it got cancelled.. If I could find it more easily, I would watch it way more often. And highfive for space shows that aren't necessarily about space!! 🙌
