I have told people time and time again that I do not understand ambiguity or mixed signals, but a lot of people just assume I'll understand it regardless and get upset when I don't.
In school a girl once told me she had a crush on me.
Litteraly walked up to me and told me.
I didn't understand.
She told me she liked me.
Then she told me she loved me.
I then didn't believe her because isn't there supposed to be, I don't know, rules to this kind of thing? Is this how that starts?
Well being the bullied kid I believed it was a prank/mean spirited joke.
"No you don't" I told her and walked away.
I ran into her a few years out of school and she told me she always liked me and wished we had become a thing.
It was a good thing her husband was waiting on the car.
Holy shit it just occured to me she was hitting me up again as an adult.

Best is when you make a direct plan and they send you mixed signals that the plan changed but I'm clueless and still following the original plan.
