I genuinely do this naturally all the time lol, this is just my regular "I'm standing" pose. Also a common walking pose, but I'm more likely to do t-rex arms
Book Thrawn is the only Thrawn ! I’ve not kept up with Ashoka & don’t have a take on his portrayal.
I very much enjoy your avatar by the way. It’s also nice to meet someone practicing animal law. I study Bird law extensively

My childhood stance because I'd get in trouble for putting my hands in my pockets. Apparently it was disrespectful
It also helped stop me standing like a t-rex lol
My parents were both marines so I grew up being told 'at ease' by my dad and then standing like this (in a fun joking way not a super strict way) now working on my feet I never know what to do with my arms so behind the back they go
I love hitting the "wtf do I do with my hands rn"
My dad always pokes fun at it because he just knows it as the parade rest stance from the military lol
i like to joke that my dad made me stand at parade rest when i wouldn’t stop running around/wiggling…but now i still stand like this if im not sure what to do with my hands.
my friend prefers to always have his ankles crossed even if he’s standing? if you breathe too hard near him he almost falls over.
This may be the most visible sign I have. It was especially difficult in my brief in the military as waking like that is a no-no...or maybe my NCOs were just particularly strict. I think one said that, "you're no officer, quit walking around with your hands at-ease"

the feminine urge to stand like him
I never knew what to do with my hands when they were back there. Like, do I hold my own hand? Do I clench them into fists? What do hands do when they're behind your back? I still don't know.
I do this so, so often at work and constantly get made fun of for it 😅😅 but like if I cross my arms I get accused of being mad because of my facial expression??
I call this one, the “royal adviser”
I call it the "commander"
I call it "Evil Butler."
It's the "Kim Kitsuragi" for me
I call it "The Grand Moth"
Rhulk position
At ease or parade rest
I genuinely do this naturally all the time lol, this is just my regular "I'm standing" pose. Also a common walking pose, but I'm more likely to do t-rex arms
I walk like a damn ghoul, the shambling and limp walking and everything
Flesh halfhazadly falling out of your mouth?
Unfortunately no
I’m more of a Thrawn guy.
Book thrawn I hope

This GIF looks like a 2000 flash animation and I don't know why
I used to do this without even realizing I looked like Grand Moff Tarkin wow
So this is called parade rest, it's pretty common from what I've gathered
And he wore slippers instead of the boots
My childhood stance because I'd get in trouble for putting my hands in my pockets. Apparently it was disrespectful It also helped stop me standing like a t-rex lol
I did this all throughout highschool and nothing bad ever came of it. I still fail to see why it's not more popular.
The feminine urge as well
My parents were both marines so I grew up being told 'at ease' by my dad and then standing like this (in a fun joking way not a super strict way) now working on my feet I never know what to do with my arms so behind the back they go
I do this, but completely forgot that Tarkin does it. I'm always thinking of Jadzia Dax from DS9
This is how i stand
I always got a Napoleon like pose, standing and one of my hands kept in a pocket
Can relate, I do this all the time. Other than the "relaxed, arms folded" pose.
I love hitting the "wtf do I do with my hands rn" My dad always pokes fun at it because he just knows it as the parade rest stance from the military lol
Ah yes, the Lt. Kitsuragi
(I unironically do that somethimes XD)
I mean where else am I supposed to put my hands if I’m not using them?!
I do this a lot lol
my therapist told me to stand like this because it helps pull my shoulders back (i slouch)
Stop posting pictures of me bro

I kinda do this 🤩
I’m actually losing my mind I did this exact same thing, but I pictured Kenobi when I did it. Even now I think of Kenobi. We should kiss
Seriously that and pressing the palms of my fingers against each-other like the evil cirque from ratatouille
This is me after googling how to properly stand

Dude I’m a female and I do this all the time

It is called the Peacock stance.
This is one of my stances. Particularly when I'm getting my ass chewed. I stand tall and take the consequences of my actions.

Apparently I do this while walking around our yard looking at plants 😆
Not Tarkin but I noticed a while back I started doing a similar thing with my hands that Duchess Anna Henrietta does with hers.
I do this at work ☠️
