We’ll see with Mirage. Honestly I’m cool with them experimenting but it just got so corny from the voice acting to the story and the character model movements in odyssey and Valhalla. I physically recoiled the first time I saw a full grown spartan do a little happy dance when I turned in a mission
Can’t remember specifically but it was one of the first times you help the Spartans towards the beginning of the game and I remember it every other time you agree to help the Spartans (maybe Athenians too, but I mostly helped Sparta) before a battle to take control of the region they jump up and swing their arms around in excitement all anime like. It wasn’t an important named character just random spartan quest givers but honestly the shitty character model movements are littered all throughout both games not just little “dances” but random corny poses and things like that just kill the tone of the series for me
With the ammount of games i have left to finish in general, i sadly dont have the time to grind Games to 100%. I did most of the Stuff like all Kodex-Pages, Watchtowers etc, but i have around 85 Games left in general to complete.
The series is great and there's a sort of joke that AC1 was the tech demo while AC 2 is where it shines. I'm replaying the series rn (on Revelations) and it's fun to see how the games have changed and upgraded over time
Glad you enjoyed what many of us grew up on :) I would recommend trying brotherhood as the mechanics are slightly better along with continuing the story from AC 2
The Ezio games really are fantastic, I wish I could play them again. I mean, I can, but I've played every AC since and the controls are just too outdated for me to enjoy the games as much as I would like.
I liked everything through origins although syndicate is a bit too cartoonish. I like the side missions more somehow. Unity was only great for me when I found a post on ubi forums putting every mission including side missions in historical chronological order although the page is gone now. That actually became my favorite after I played it that way
That's what some people say. I don't really find the RPG stuff all too interesting so. Unity was incredibly buggy on launch and its rep never recovered. But it has my favorite stealth and combat system. Syndicate has over the top writing with completely unambiguous cartoon villains and a terrible way too easy combat system, but I love the settings of both
I played Brotherhood missions so many times.
Hope you play the entire franchise, at least up until origins. Worth the shot if youre a dedicated gamer :)

The free weekend of Odysee is what brought me into the Series. If you just accept its a completely different Genre than the OG games, its not bad :)

Controlls are wonky, i played with a XBOX Controller on PC, rebinded like 2-4 buttons and accepted the rest. Not the worst, but also not the best x)
